They are back. I was dubious at watching s1 of this as she’s always annoyed me grinning madly like a Cheshire Cat with massive teeth

but I admit I was wrong

she came across as a lovely person and mum

I really enjoyed watching their lives tho Joe can be an immature knob at times esp if she is working and wants him home (rem the fishing trip)

shame they never seen to mention /show Joe’s eldest - not sure if that’s his decision or they are just showing the younger 5

either way nice to see inside pickle cottage

and Dave was lovely. We all need a Dave

I think Joe's eldest is old enough to decide for himself so probably doesn't want to be in it? I don't think Stacey's mum is ever on it either is she? I missed it starting it again so will have to watch it on catch-up.

Has this started again this week? Ie yesterday? Or is it starting again next week?

Smiled and laughed a lot during tonight's episode.

Joe really should have taken the ring off his finger to show the tattoo, but more importantly, he should have thought about how it would look with the ring on BEFORE he had it done 🤦‍♀️

Also love how Rose is like a mini-Stacey and how Rex is like a mini-Joe. The sibling relationships were also great to see, from Joe's two sisters, to Stacey and Jemma, to Leighton and Zach.

Loved the old footage of Stacey skiing as a kid and watching the LOs learn to ski for the first time. But Dave really is the best character.

I wonder if Stacey's brother Aaron's mother is Dave's second wife? Always thought it was just Stacey and Jemma that grew up together 🤔

I never thought I would enjoy this programme as I saw the first one by default but think they are a brilliant blended family and make me laugh so much.

Same - I didn't think I'd like this programme, but saw part of an episode in the first series and loved it, so caught up on all of it. I love Stacey from Sort Your Life Out, but I thought Joe would be really annoying. And he is! But it doesn't matter, it's still very enjoyable to watch. It's just very heartwarming, all the family are lovely.

I was exhausted watching so many of them holidaying together. I've never been in a group of more than 4 so it would be my idea of hell but they all seemed to be having a lovely fun time.

The stress of going by train though!

Yes I was never a fan of Stacey or Joe but ended up watching an episode by accident and my views on Stacey totally changed. I think she’s an impressive woman and unlike a lot of ‘reality’ tv series this actually does seem to be genuine and real. The whole train journey to Switzerland I have taken the exact same one changing in Paris etc etc. For once the things that happen actually appear to be real with a camera crew who happen to be there and it’s not all manufactured for the camera.

I contrast this with something like Sam and Billie Fairers who lead such vacuous lives and are clearly not very bright that the fact one of them has run out of mascara can be the whole premise of an episode.

I love Dave as well

family. Meet Gwen the grandma and jo with his mum

We've seen both Gwen at her care home and Joe's mum before.

Love how close he is to her and how much Joe's sisters both look like their mum.

I’ve just watched e3. She was seventeen and Zack’s dad was twenty when she got pregnant.
I didn’t expect that big age difference - which at that age, it is (to me at least).

I could sympathise with Stacey at the dance class. Try as I might I cannot get a sequence of dance steps into my head. It just makes no sense to me.

Wondering why Joe took a massive suitcase with him as well as the little one for a couple of days unless he was bringing over stuff for his mum.

It must be so nice to have somebody like Dave who can turn their hand to anything DIY-wise and so good to see all Zach's "parents" getting on together, unlike my XH who refuses to speak to me so makes family gatherings very awkward.

I wasn’t too sure about the first series but it really grew on me. Stacey has a fantastic work ethic and I give her a lot of credit.

Dave is super lovely. And the fact that Stacey and Zoe talk so openly about how much help they get from their families is really good to see.
