😃Did Jarvis always have those primary school Y6 teacher vibes? I remember him as slightly cooler. Common people still has it though.

Loved RAYE with her big bad ass band and flashy dress, she was having so much fun. Bit sad though, I found my self thinking of poor Amy Winehouse, and how she could have developed into a jazzy singer, enjoying being cool but also thrilling audiences with that amazing voice and a back up band to match.

Poor Gary Numan, he really has turned into a not very good Alice Cooper tribute band, could imagine him on a line up in a Butlins adult weekend.

We said the same about Jarvis C although went for geography teacher (me) or maths teacher (dc).

Rod Stewart absolutely smashed it !
Nile Rodgers another legend! Seeing him live next Sunday... excited 😆

WillowTit · 29/06/2025 18:30

If you haven't seen it, the Myles Smith set on Friday was really good too and he comes across a such a lovely man.

I felt the same about watching Myles. I've watched his set twice now and will happily watch over and over. Also signed up to his website and bought his CD for the car. Similarly, Shaboozey today seemed just so stoked and happy / grateful to be there.

JaneJeffer · 29/06/2025 18:38

The sound isn’t right

Mollypolly123 · 29/06/2025 18:39

What do you think of xcx ? Totally underwhelmed by her behavior

I, on the other hand, find Raye so boring but absolutely loved Gary Numan’s set. Glastonbury really does have something for everyone!

Oooh not sure.
Glasto 2025 - The Come Down?
(in homage to Pulp!)

Anything that gets the Red Arrows out - how cool were they?

PlumpHobbit · 29/06/2025 18:47

DH hates snow patrol and finds them boring, however we have them on as not into Nile Rogers and Chic music, I did point out to him they are at least singing live 😂

Chewbecca · 29/06/2025 18:48

Loved Rod - knew & sung along to every single song - there are very performers that I can say that for!

PlumpHobbit · 29/06/2025 18:49

Im not a fan of Raye's music, but watched her full set (she was close to going off as not into her style of music, but there wasn't anything inspiring on the other coverage) and got into it, she's very versatile, never knew she was going to bust out a couple of dance numbers at the end

I also appreciated she was in a very modest dress, and not gallivanting around on the floor, scantily clad, she let her music do the talking. Was surprised when she said her throat was iffy, wouldn't have guessed she did really well

Awful. I don't do tic tok so didn't really have much exposure to her, however knew she had a huge following, so tuned in eagerly to watch her and see what all the fuss is about

Safe to say she'd have been switched off a lot earlier if the coverage of Scissor Sisters (who im not into) had worked.

It really annoyed me she mimed a lot (and at times just had her backing track on) while she gallivanted around on the floor

I definitely didn't get her but the crowd seemed to be loving it. She made me feel VERY old even though im mid 30s, as I really didn't get the hype about her

MaryGreenhill · 29/06/2025 18:55

Nile and Chic just fantastic 😍

Notashamed13 · 29/06/2025 18:59

Absolutely brilliant set by Nile and Chic wooooooo

Notashamed13 · 29/06/2025 19:00

Ahhhh and Mick Hucknall! He was fab too! I love his music!

BabyBump1212 · 29/06/2025 19:02

Nile blew me away. Loved the new backing girls. Amazing. Shame the cameras kept panning away during "I'm thinking of you". At the gig they showed a pic of Prince and I bawled 😭😭😭

Mikart · 29/06/2025 19:04

Is the Neil Young set available to watch?

placemats · 29/06/2025 19:05

Was okay with Rod Stewart. Good set and loved all the young talent. Plus Ronnie and a non singing Lulu.

Poignant moment with Michael Eavis.

When going back and forth on the ferry to take care of my mum across the Irish sea I would sing Sailing so that was an emotional moment for me.

Mollypolly123 · 29/06/2025 19:08

If this is how future generations are going to be , might as well just cut out the clothes now and just do porn!, what does this tell the younger generation ??

BabyBump1212 · 29/06/2025 19:16

Aw annoyed that Fatboy slim isn't up on iPlayer 😔

JaneJeffer · 29/06/2025 19:20

Ralph Rolle was excellent
