Israel got the most votes from the public around the world.

The only reason why Austria won is because of the Jury vote.

Israel won the UK public vote and the overall viewer vote. Based on the numbers they will have been top or very close to the top of virtually every country’s vote.

I was a bit confused there too. He stopped singing, but the sound track with the high note still played, suggesting he was miming. But then he went back and sung it, I think??

Yeah excitement and emotion. I do like it when they can still deliver a belting performance at the end, but it is understandable
