Vey disappointed Israel didn't win - hated the winning song - as did everyone else in the UK evidently as we gave it no votes. Not surprised our public vote was 12 for Israel - I kept getting the engaged tone when I tried to vote for them.

As usual some weird reversals of fortunes once the public voted!

If Israel had won that would have resulted in a big backlash for Eurovision.

Israel got the most votes from the public around the world.

The only reason why Austria won is because of the Jury vote.

As this was announced rocket alarms went off in Israel so everyone celebrated IN THEIR BOMB SHELTERS.

If that’s not the most Israeli story ever then I don’t know what is.

Took all the fun out of the end of it. Thank goodness Austria won, I hated their song but the alternative would have been awful. Israel spending millions on hosting Eurovision while committing genocide.

Not sure they'd have been allowed to host.
