Bet the Austrian music authorities are cheering, and then thinking wtf, we have to host Eurovision! !

Vey disappointed Israel didn't win - hated the winning song - as did everyone else in the UK evidently as we gave it no votes. Not surprised our public vote was 12 for Israel - I kept getting the engaged tone when I tried to vote for them.

As usual some weird reversals of fortunes once the public voted!

Estonia got the mood just right.

Yeah I feel like the spirit of Eurovision has got very lost. I know it's always been political but seems so much worse now. Still love the build up but each year the points bit becomes less enjoyable

Took all the fun out of the end of it. Thank goodness Austria won, I hated their song but the alternative would have been awful. Israel spending millions on hosting Eurovision while committing genocide.

Low audience score for Italy and Switzerland getting 0 from the public…. The voting was ALL over the place.

Israel won the UK public vote and the overall viewer vote. Based on the numbers they will have been top or very close to the top of virtually every country’s vote.
