Yes it’s a ridiculous (temporary) exit story for Stacey, but I guess the writers had no other direction to go to facilitate Lacey Turner’s maternity leave.

Jean is bipolar as is Stacey.

Jean is bipolar. I agree Jean would not be able to cope, and she shouldn't have to. I know Stacey disappeared because Lacey was about 11 months pregnant, but the storylining is ridiculous.

Nobody ever looks after Charli visibly. She must be over a year old by now. It made me laugh how quiet and peaceful the house was with 3 kids to get off to school and a baby! It’s mayhem in most houses at that time.

Jean's impatience with the jam jar lid was quite revealing. I wonder how she manages when the baby is having a crying jag.

Eve with jam jar was bang on - one sharp tap and boils! Nice contrast to Jean's jittery uselessness.

one thing that annoyed me yesterday was Eve not offering advice on the Avani thing, she was a solicitor right?

presumably Avani just took the vodka from the Mini Mart she jointly owns

Eve is only interested in getting her wife into bed most of the time! She was quick to give her lawyer advice to other people historically, but with Avani and Priya she is so quiet.
I wanted her to take the jam jar away from Jean gently and offer to help out, but she is as useless and selfish as they all are it seems ( although I guess that Stacey taking off isn’t entirely her problem, but they did used to be close once )

Bernie hasn’t been seen or heard for ages and is now in charge of the Panesar’s money , which has gone off the boil lately.

Linda looked lovely today.
Jeff seemed ok, but maybe a tad boring for her ?
Although he probably won’t be seen again.
Harry seems to like Gina , she is sweet. I hope she doesn’t fall for him as he was so horrible before with the blackmailing , but characters can change like the wind.
Avani is on self destruct then :(

Yeah I didn't think Jeff was a good match for Linda at all today. He seemed quite bland. I do hope Kim finds her someone suitably vibrant.

I'm glad Gina got the job, Anna was a wet blanket as ever just sitting back smiling and watching. Her delayed attempt at solidarity was useless. I think G and H would make a good pairing, they are both fiery and would keep eachother on their toes but 2 ex addicts and 1 drug pushing mum may not be wise.
I don't actually mind Harry though, he's obviously a product of his parents and seemed to have been shoved into crime and the family business in a case of out of sight, out of mind, where as Barney got the doey eyed favouritism.

Also, was nice to see dishy Ravi again, though D seems to have disappeared and forgotten about by both him and Jack.

Yes, Dee has disappeared!
Jack and co rarely cook and why was he with Amy on her own too?
I know it was a clunky plot line , but still odd.

When did Gina and Anna resolve their differences over the Freddie incident? Or has that just been forgotten about!

Seems the sisters have forgiven each other .. ! 😆
I wonder when Felix is off ? Maybe he’ll live in Wolverhampton with his plumber eventually!

It was lovely to see Ravi. It's amazing that I think of him as a good guy despite knowing all the bad stuff he's done. I thought he was great with Avani, and Priya is really making an effort. But Avani remains so annoying.

I really hope Gina does not fall for Harry, he is the anti-Ravi - he has absolutely no charm!

Everyone seems to have forgotten about Freddie/Gina/Anna, it was just a plot point in the Cindy debacle.

I think Phil needs to brush up on his sausage cookery 😆

I’m glad George is helping Phil, I love the boxing and bants idea

The boxing and bants idea is supposed to be like Men in Sheds I suppose (we have one of those nearby). I am not sure getting older guys to punch each other is a great idea especially as George had a head injury and Nigel has dementia

I haven’t posted much lately as this week’s episodes haven’t done much for me but I’m looking forward to next week and seeing what the ‘new’ Vicki brings to the show and her husband (played by an actor I’ve always had a soft spot for).

New Vicki sounds a bit of a mare already! Only from what I’ve read.
The air fare over from Oz is pretty huge , so probably why they don’t want to go back in a hurry.
The son , or whoever he is , will probably have an Aussie twang which will be quietly dropped once his been in it a while!
Is the actor well known ? What’s he been in before ?

Alex Walkinshaw plays Ross, Vicki’s husband. He was in The Bill, Casualty and Holly City playing Smithy and Fletch.

So, is Avani on an inevitable journey towards a life of drugs abuse?

I wonder if they're Nicola's dodgy pills, there was a bad batch if I recall correctly.
