My bet on the Nigel story is that Phil will wise up to him leaving Julie and contact her. She’ll come back and they’ll reunite and he’ll move back in with her to live out his days.

Theres no way they’ll have someone with dementia committing suicide, nor succumb so quickly to it.

I actually quite like Jumpers too. It’s just Harry and Nicola I can’t get on with. I’m glad Jumpers found out today so it doesn’t drag it out even longer as another square secret

It’s all come out rather quickly about Shireen. At least we are spared Nicola trying to black mail Ravi now.
His more likely to hold it against her , but he might let it drop and just not do any more drug deals for her !
He covered up that murder that Suki did once , so he is as bad as she is really .. although that’s all been forgotten.
I wonder why Nic killed her though ?

Good for Ravi telling Jumpers. I was so over the whole Shireen story. I hope she's dead not EE dead so she doesn't rock up in a couple of weeks.
I know I should feel sorry for Barney but I CBA.
Hope they do justice to the Nigel storyline, dementia is something too many families have to live with, it's a terrible thing.

The Nigel storyline is a bit triggering for me as my late dad had it. He was much older when he was diagnosed , but the change in Nigel’s mood really resonated with me. It is difficult seeing someone change in a moment.
I felt sorry for Barney , but Avida isn’t the girl for him tbh. He needs someone quieter I think.

I’ve said this before, but Barney reminds me of Nookie Bear.

Astonishingly, the New Mitchells actually inspired me today! Honest to God, when I saw Nicola had a crisp sandwich, it had me craving a bag of salt and vinegar crisps like no-one's business.

Ravi’s WTF? Face was brilliant

I know he covered up for suki but wasn’t that guy attacking her? (It happened when I had a ten year EE break) no excuse for what he did to Eve mind, but he’s not going to help move a random woman’s body

I really like Kojo and although he’s a knob Harry and him were great yesterday, Harry was really good with him despite the bad advice

A crisp sandwich is lovely. Also not had one in years though! Crisps ‘on the side! occasionally ( when not on another diet that doesn’t work )
They always lay on elaborate tables on EE ( nish used to do the same once)
Considering how busy Jumpers is meant to be with paradise park , it’s a wonder he has the time for all that faff. She didn’t even eat the nice breakfast they laid on.

Yes, Ravi actually did a good thing for Suki, but he still dumped the body etc. Not the same as with Nic granted, but he isn’t totally innocent of a few criminal things and has been in prison / drug dealer.

It was great to see Ravi tell her to take a hike, and Teddy walked in so he knows all. Teddy is going to have to get his spade out before the cameras are installed, he'll have a busy night😆

The problem with Teddy and Nic (especially Nic) is they are cartoons. Nic may as well be Cruella de Vil. She is one note evil, nothing nice about her, even the 'I'll do anything for my boys', is rubbish, they are just bargaining chips to get what she wants.

But I agree 80s - lovely dress!

I liked Phil reading up on dementia and cutting up Nigel's toast, that was a very Phil way of getting it wrong! I will be constantly picking holes in that storyline because I've had three close relatives with dementia, but the one positive is that it is taking Phil in a new direction, which is what he needs. I also liked Linda giving a mention to Sylvie.

It's the magic safe. Every time he closes it 30k appears, ready for him to open up next time.
If he wanted to he could just open and close it all day, refreshing the 30k every time.

I’m afraid that residential dementia care in London would be very difficult to find for less than £2,000 per week. But that still won’t phase Phil!

Nigel and Phil should get civil partnered - that way Nigel will be entitled to a share of Phil's endless estate if Phil gets set upon by gangsters next week.

I love the idea of Phil having a civil partnership with Nigel ! His married so many women and it’s gone really badly wrong , this may well go right (for a little time at least ) and clear up any financial problems too!
I can’t see the writers doing this, but you never know

Nicola did look stunning last night.
she is an attractive woman and probably really nice as herself, but her soap character is just horrible.
I can’t see her being around for long.

They haven't put much effort into Nicola's characterisation have they?
Suki was horrible when she arrived but she was also interesting and complex, and of course we found out over time why she behaved as she did. Nicola in comparison is a cardboard cut out.

Nicola is an 80s throwback from a Martina Cole novel.
hard faced, out for herself , addicted to Jumpers ( for some odd reason ) dodgy business woman.
The writers haven’t done a fantastic job really , but they did with Suki. Who is now a bit part along with Eve.

As you say 80s it does make you think the reason they haven't bothered is that she is not going to be around long. I'm crossing my fingers she ends up under a truckload of cement in Paradise Park.

i bet this new development isn’t ’ paradise ‘ at all either , a few old plant pots won’t cut it there.
I bet jumpers finishes her off eventually. Just a guess , I am usually wrong ( as you all know by now!) lol

I'd love it if Jumpers did it (we could get rid of both of them in one go!) But he'd probably have to get in the queue - Shireen's brother would be first and Harry would be second!

i wonder why she killed her ? it doesn’t seem her MO really , but she’s clearly dangerous etc.
Harry may well ‘ go rogue ‘ on her if he finds out!
