Phil and Dee ! Dunno, but she seems loved up with Jack , despite the fact his off to visit his sister !
he is never at work is he ? Lol

I love how Jack is off to visit/look after his poor sister Suzy because she had a relatively minor accident (broken collarbone) - the same Suzy who, of course, didn't make a trip the other way to support her brother when his baby died, or when his wife died, or when their niece (Abi) died, or when his daughter was in a life-threatening accident (bring crushed in the club), or when their other nieces (Bianca and Sonia) were in peril and almost died. Ah, you've got to love the tortured ways in which the writers account for actors being on holiday 😆

When did Jack’s baby die?

Jack and Ronnie's baby James died of SIDS when he was only a few days old (infamous storyline where a grief-crazed Ronnie swapped James' body with baby Tommy Moon).

Way too much Teddy and Nicola.

I hope someone is eventually going to ring Nigel's wife. I expect Phil will, now he apparently has access to Nigel's phone.

Maybe the apathy feeling about EE some of us have is to do with the transitory period of executive producers. I also think the show isn't as enjoyable as it usually is because there's currently no Queen Vic.

Added to which several key characters are absent - no Sharon, Bianca or Stacey (is Stacey still in her bedroom?!) And the focus on the new Mitchells always brings things down.

Jumpers said the Vic rebuild will be done in about 2 weeks. Hilarious 😂

I wonder if we shall ever see ‘ paradise park ‘ in Daaartford ? It’s not a terrible place, but I wouldn’t call any of it ‘ paradise ‘ !
I suspect that we may be spared any on location filming though.

I did like Priya's line to Jumpers "cashmere Al Pacino" 😆

Considering we haven’t seen jumpers actually do any work at all, two weeks is funny.

Yeah, that was funny! Priya is one of my new favorite characters! She is certainly more fun than some of the others at the moment.

Nicola and Teddy have no chemistry at all. He always looks scared shitless when she pounces on him. Like a boa constrictor swallowing a baby rabbit, whole. Yes, all back to normal at the Vic in just two weeks thanks to Super Ted's team of invisible builders and tradesmen.

On the day of the funeral I was expecting Stacey to find Kathy and Harvey shagging in the shed. I was quite surprised when it was Ruby in there instead and was treated to the never ending he loved me, woe is me discussions they have.

I think that Jumpers is scared of his ex. He is probably very aware of what she is capable of despite the fact his a low life gangster himself ( but just above everyone else by having his own business I suppose, so vaguely on the level in everyone else’s eyes) plus he likes to play the fair minded sort ,unlike her.
She probably has a lot of dirt on him too, so he knows he has to keep her on side a bit. He was gutted when she found him living in Walford as he thought he had escaped her clutches.

I was confused yesterday about the talk of Nicola maybe not killing Shireen because I remember her saying last month she did. Does anyone else remember that? Benji got rid of the body for her.

I understood it that this benji fella killed her and disposed of the body. So it may not have happened but considering the way she happily watched those blokes beat up Zach I would have thought she would have wanted to be there

I’m surprised Nic wouldn’t want to see the body before she was disposed of. Maybe she was too busy giving people the fake Botox at the time to show up !

I think Nicola ‘killed’ Shireen and just told Benji to dispose of the body, hence not needing to see it. I still think there will be a big twist and it will turn out the actual killer was Barney or something (maybe an accident) and she is covering for him. Or a flashback will reveal Benji picking up the body but Shireen is not actually dead.

I also had to lol at Jack rushing of to tend to Susie and her broken collar bone. So random.

I thought Nic told Benji to kill and dispose of Shireen. I don't think she did it herself, that is not her style surely?

That is the reason we were all saying Shireen probably wasn't dead and would turn up - because we thought Benji told Nic he did it and took the money, but maybe he let her go.

Jack going off was a bit strange. I do remember the Branning sisters ( vaguely) and neither seemed the type to want to help anyone else out!

I assumed it was for the Dartford job, seeing as Junior was supposed to be the one recruiting builders but suddenly had to rush off to Dubai to see his son.

Hmmm…I thought she said to Benji “my family must never find out I killed that girl”.

I suppose she might have meant “arranged to have her killed” as in the eyes of the law it’s the same thing if you kill someone or arrange for a hitman to kill them.

It’s all a bit confusing because the storyline has dragged on in drips and drabs for so long. Like Shireen’s brother who turned up for a couple of episodes, vowed to bring Teddy down and then not heard of again.

I do agree that there may be a twist with this story around Shireen and it might be that Nicola covered up something for either Barney or Harry and she means ‘ arranged to have her killed ‘ as in hiring Benji to just dispose of her body. Or just the usual lazy writing from different writers who can’t seem to be consistent with a back story like this is whilst they try and drag it out and people not saying what they mean and it’s a bit confusing ? I’ve no real idea though , but it’s bound to become messy I suppose!

Yes that was what I remember as well. But even if Shireen isn't dead, I agree with comments that she'll appear soon - unless the new executive producer changes things, the new Mitchells are taking up a lot of screen time so this may continue - Shireen (and maybe a child of hers and Harry) gives the family more stories, I suppose.
