Yeah possibly, I think that that something was off behind the scenes tbh, especially with nat cass' demeanour on the anniverdary show, but hopefully its all sorted now 🙌

Oh yes, Felix has been axed (I was referring to characters who have already left). No surprise really, he is barely on screen.

I always had the impression that the Felix character was only in it to promote his own drag act. I am surprised his stuck around as long as he has.
Potential there for some good storylines, but maybe the actor didn’t really want them and was happy to be a bit part and just everyone’s friend! Once his brother left they kind of gave up on him.
I liked the character though

We saw his drag act on the show twice didn't we? I think you're right, it was good promotion for him. I don't think they really knew what to do with the character, which is a shame.

We did see Felix as ‘ Tirra Misou ‘ or however you spelt that name. Seemed pretty good.
He did confront Phil once as his alter ego , that made me smile!

Phil had to tell everyone about Nigel's Dementia after an unfortunate incident at the children's Easter Egg hunt (Nigel confused Hope with Claire)

Pryia tried to set Avani up with Barney. Yawn.

Jumpers has given Vicky's boyfriend a job on the construction project at Dartford. Nicola is losing her mind that it's going ahead.

It wasn't a very interesting episode.

I read that the building site is where Shireen was buried, so that’s why Nicola was anxious in today’s episode.

I think that's where hitman she hired told her it was buried. But there was some doubt on the spoiler thread at the time as to whether or not he actually killed Shireen and Nicola hasn't actually seen the body. So my money is on Shireen turning up with Harry's child at some point..

I bet that Benji ( the hit man) just took Nicola’s cash and didn’t murder Shireen. She’s probably been living up north or somewhere abroad and I agree , may well turn up with Harry’s child at some stage just to taut them all.

Yes the hitman named the place he buried Shireen as Paradise Park. Which is the same place now being developed by Junior/Teddy. I suppose we will have a lot of Nicola and Teddy this week, it has been nice without them.🙁

A few relatives of mine live close to Dartford and those surrounding areas and they are saying it’s all being redeveloped and built up , new homes , flats extra staff at the GP surgery and so on, so this feels true to life for that area.
Shireen probably won’t be found though..
Jumpers must be pretty well off to be able to invest in these type of projects.
Not seen it yet, but agree it’ll probably be the New Mitchells from now on. They seem to be mentioned a lot in the tv guide.

The New Mitchells just haven’t worked unfortunately. Harry is a very poor actor and Nicola constantly snarling and going on on about her boys is tiresome. Jumper’s flat cap really annoys me - is it just me or is it a size too big for his head?

It looks like they are setting up Kojo to leave as well since he wants to live on his own now. He was originally supposed to stay for a couple of weeks before going back to Ghana but a year on he’s still here with his long expired tourist visa lol. I’m sure George will magically find a flat for him even though he has no income.

Just watching Sonia's exit. I feel more sad about this than I did about Martin dying.

Natcass is eastenders 🥺 - hope she gets to come back permanently in a few years time.

So glad that Terry exposed himself to be an absolute twat. Him being chucked in the cupboard was funny.

I’m not bothered about Kojo leaving but feel disappointed that Felix is leaving. I feel his character bring some needed comic relief and lightness to the soap.

Yeah the new additions, bar avani and priya, for me are very dull - just doesn't feel like eastenders for me, its hard to describe

I think the affair is still on but haven't seen Harv and Kath together in a while.
I think I know what you mean about the show feeling different. To me, it feels like too many characters and no running plot to invest in. It feels like a string of whodunnits and little development of characters and situations that we (viewers) can buy into.

It might liven up once the Vic is reopened. Give them all a reason to be together in one place maybe ?
I agree it has a different feel to it lately and I’m not rushing to watch it like I used to or that invested in it.
The new Mitchell’s are a bit dire and Nicola is just horrible most of the time and the faces she pulls!
( if the wind catches her it might stay the same)
I like Barney , but his bound to get hurt and Zack is itching to tell him his the dad! That’ll run on I suppose.

I think he’s recruited him to work on-site in Daaaartford but Ross will probably spend all his time in the Vic/Cafe because no-one actually ever leaves the square to work.

Yes so incredibly fortunate that he was walking past at the exact time Jumpers was saying loudly that he needs builders🙄 I was confused when he was talking to George and Elaine about the Vic as didn’t even realiae he was working on that. He must be a jack of all trades because construction is different from interior renovation.

I noticed Dee and Phil had yet another cosy chat today about their mental health issues. And JackandJack has left for a while. They wouldn’t would they..😂
