SOS campaign? Strangle Old Sonia. What a prize bitch. Stacey in that vegan fur coat looked like one of those big, fat black bears you see on TV catching salmon in their mouths. Her and Lily both. Stereo screaming, grizzly harridans.

Strangle or suffocate, I’d happily do either to her.

Patsy somehow manages to make Bianca likeable even when she's doing stupid things. I'll miss her.

I felt for Ruby today. Stacey was bloody awful. I know they always make it so Stacey tries to come off OK again when she apologises, but I'm tired of that now. I'm not a fan of gobby self-righteous Stacey at all and i always get the impression that the writer expect the general public to side with Stacey, but they don't. I agree with pp that they need to get rid of some of the big characters as they are all similar in personality.

Too much shouting and screeching today.

Blinkin' Kat ! Encouraging Bianca (again) to talk it out with horrid Sonia. And Kat was nowhere around when Phil was having his breakdown. Good riddance Sonia ! No disrespect to Nat Cass who looks and speaks so differently in RL.
There have been comments about the wardrobe dept in EE, they have always made Bianca and others look really dowdy. Denise always looks very stylish, and Suki swishing around the Square with that handbag !

Sonia was calling Bianca out for her ex boyfriends ! Talk about the pot and the kettle, what about her track record !

I agree. What a low blow to bring up Tony and Whitney though. Like that was all Bianca's fault! I thought B kept her calm and handled it well though.

Sonia was awful last night. I’ve said it before but they’ve written Bianca’s release and recovery from the incident terribly everyone seems to forget she was locked up in a presumably cold garage, little food, drugged and shitting in a bucket for months. They went wrong when they gave her enough strength to somehow escape, walk to the square and then clonk Reiss on the head. There was then only like two episodes where she got to show how affected she was by it all. Sonia is heartless and it’s almost out of character for her tbh

I don't think Kim has come across particularly well either. I know she's quite a superficial person, but I don't think it's believable she would try to profit from her friends like that. The female characters are bloody awful at the moment. I wouldn't want to be friends with any of them. Not really the actors fault but the writers. I think they think the viewers are all gobby lowlifes that wear ill fitting pleather trousers, gossip on social media and go around smashing wine bottles over people's heads when we have a minor disagreement. 😁

But then what do I know. I quite enjoyed the bin gate, Denise's poverty and gentrification storylines from years ago that everyone found dull.

Agree re some of the female characters. Stacey shouting "there's a witness, it doesn't matter who but Ruby is banged to rights". Are they intentionally writing her as stupid. Sonia is being awful, Kim salivating over other people's misery doesn't ring true considering she's known hard times and heartache herself. I can't put my finger on it but there is something very off about this new Viki. I do think Ruby has been very dignified this week.

Cant stand Kim. As a character she just is meh on every level. Absolutely no depth whatsoever to her. She literally is EastEnders way of going 'look we acknowledge social media'.

I can't stand Kim either. I don't find her funny, and she is as cruel as Mo.

Stacey was really unbearable, and the apology at the end didn’t make up for it. I was glad Lily pointed out if Martin was alive they wouldn’t have been together anyway.

The stall burning down story was really badly done. Stacey kept saying she’d sort it (first of all that she’d ensure Ruby was blamed, then after that didn’t work, say that it ‘was just kids’) - but Jack had seen Lily’s bottle on the scene. So is Jack supposed to ignore yet another crime? I suppose it’s small fry compared with burying Keanu.🙄

Sonia wants to forget everything that happened in the last year (which is understandable) and is blaming bianca for making this difficult. Its not great but its realistic and understandable.

On classic eastenders, on UK Drama, we are in December 2007 - so theoretically we're about 5 months away from it starting again from the very beginning 🙌🙌

Been away and had to catch up with all four episodes yesterday. I didn’t always pay close attention to all of it though. !
What a miserable week and the funeral scenes and those with Stacey all seemed a bit ‘ cut and paste’ at times too. I’m glad she made it up with Ruby though.
Sharon not attending the funeral was weird.
Not keen on new Vicki , but Ross is easy on the eye so I can forgive him for being a bit dodgy!
At least they said that Elaine had the children sometimes . She must have been exhausted though !

Yes cut and paste explains it perfectly, I think some scenes were filmed before her giving birth and some after.
I did think she would take a short maternity leave but it seems like she got about 8 weeks, if that! Maybe she will go back to Sean's

Jean made me laugh moaning that Sean hadn’t looked after Stacey! What did she expect a grown man to do about a grown woman who is grieving and feeling guilty about Martin and who wanted to come home on a milk float drunk ? ( something I’ve never seen anyone do ever and they had milk floats everywhere when I was growing up and you still see a few around now, but not the red and white electric ones from years ago , lol)

Yes you're right 80s, it was very 'cut and paste' - and the whole week was miserable! Lacey is apparently on maternity leave but filmed some scenes to be slotted in, so I guess she will soon disappear again. Where to this time?!

And when Stacey returns we will be expected to have completely forgotten she was responsible for Martin's death.

Not sure where Stacey will go next; the way she’s carrying on I wouldn’t past her going back to prison tbh!
I feel sorry for her children , two have lost their dads in tragic circumstances ( Arthur and Hope ) and Lily’s dad was a nightmare when she found out she was having Charli and seems to have disappeared out of her life / not mentioned much anyway.

Who was with baby Julia whilst Sonia , Bex and Bianca were in Harry’s Barn ? Made me lol that they kept their coats on drinking the cocktails. Nicola doesn’t let whoever is running it put the heating on then !
Mo and Kim were appalling today :(
I usually like Kim , but what they are doing is horrible.
