Agree about Lilly. She's just a child herself and Martin likely wouldn't be dead if Stacey didn't fanny around in the pub. Also, as annoying as Ruby is I do feel sorry for her. Martin wasn't completely honest with her and clearly still had feelings for Stacey. Besides who else was paying for the funeral.

I felt very sorry for Lily, left to look after herself and the other kids too. At least Lily has Jean, although Jean is a bit flakey at least she’s there.

I don’t see what Ruby did wrong at the funeral. She gave him the type of funeral all longtime Walford residents get and he's buried near Arthur and Pauline. The only other person who offered was Stacey, and (a) she has no money and (b) she ran off and turned up drunk on the day.

I follow Patsy on Insta and she lives in LA, she was here to do EE and must have tacked CBB on to the end of it. She posted a lovely tribute to Chris Clenshaw saying if he hadn't been producer her return 'wouldn't have happened'.

Not a fan of chris clenshaw as imo he ruined patsy return but I'm glad he brought her back. Was lovely seeing Gary and minty as well

Cant get on board with this new Vicki at all. She'd be a fantastic recast for sonia (not that I'd ever want that to happen), but not worldly Vicki.

I'm glad Ruby has come to her senses tbh. Stacey is poison for Ruby, she was better off hiding roman away. Hope she takes him snd raises him well by herself

Also during Sonia’s speech did we get a slight acknowledgement from Ian in his face that if it wasn’t for him and Cindy fighting the crash would have unlikely happened so he is partly to blame for Martin’s death

I didn't notice that from Ian. He seemed to be smiling a lot. I'm not quite sure what Ian acknowledges, and no one has mentioned it (yet).

I thought it was a bit rich Sharon tearing Ross off a strip for going to the funeral - she didn't go herself so there was no one else to support Vicki. I'm also fed up with Alfie being sanctimonious about Spencer when he hasn't mentioned his name in decades.

Ruby was absolutely right about Stacey - and Martin. Martin was only as good as his last conversation, he was weak and easily swayed.

I didn't blame her setting the stall on fire - she bought it, no one appreciated it. (They still haven't bothered to explain how the funeral was paid for.)

I also don't blame Ruby for setting the stall on fire - no-one cared about her there so why not burn it all down, and then leave with her son

Good on Ruby for speaking up. I do not like the new Viki and co. at all.

Ruby the actor has veneers or some other weird dentistry, a few years ago, think it was a free treatment for publicity as was it was a feature online and in a few publications

I can’t stand ruby , never could and I don’t like these two identical newcomers.

Ruby going to sit in the allotment shed was stupid. But not as stupid as Stacey turning up there as well.
Lily must have a very high tolerance level for a child because I’d have been pissed as a fart after drinking all that vodka.
I’m bored with the Martin funeral stuff now.

The East end singalong round the old Joanna was painful and I hate the teenager storylines. They are all so selfish and hateful (Amy is okay). My son had his moments when he was younger but generally, he and his mates were lovely kids.

It's funny, when EE started I was about the same age as Sharon, Ian and Michelle, so they were the characters I was interested in and now I'm a middle-aged woman I couldn't care less about the younger characters!

Why has Suki been MIA? She wasn't at the funeral or anywhere to be seen lately.

Suki was on screen all last week with the Avani storyline. I guess she wasn't really needed for the funeral, Eve was there for Stacey.

I agree about Lily's tolerance levels, she must have had half a bottle of vodka but it didn't seem to affect her very much.

The actress who plays Lily has only recently turned 16, she possibly has never been drunk. I think it's hard for a teen to play drunk so I wasn't fussed about her tolerance, there were worse portrayals in the episode

So who do we think set fire to Martin's stall? I mean Ruby bought it for him so I could totally understand if it was her. But could it have been Lily? Or someone else?

I don't know why Lily would do destroy a memorial to Martin?
As they gave Ruby that line about buying it, along with realising he never loved her, it has to be her doesn't it? And she must be leaving any day now so it's a good way for her to go out - burning her bridges.

I really, really don't want the destruction of the stall to be down to Tommy and Joel. Tommy was barely under control before this new friendship, and I fear they're going to be bad influences on each other.

I think it was Ruby who did it but Joel will get the blame hence the whole thing with them messing about near it
Alfie will lead the charge against Joel as he hates his dad

Has everyone watched today’s episode yet? It seemed obvious at the end that it was Lily who burned the stall.

Yes, they were insinuating it was Lily.

Just watched now. I hope it wasn't Lily, it could have been an accident (candles wind photos etc) but that's not the EE way.
Maybe pissed Avani did it and covered it by telling her mum it was Ruby.
Most likely is Tommy and his new dodgy mate.

Stacey is acting appallingly. I don't like Ruby but she was right in everything she said today.

Stacey is a gobby, rough, trashy cow. Lily is following in her footsteps. Great parenting. They even look alike in their matching tracksuit tops. Can Vicki snd her tribe just decide to stay in the UK? The bloke is an Aussue national I guess.

Presume they are all British, they all have English accents and the kid told Tommy he was born in England

Ross is British, he said he was from somewhere near Walford (New Cross? can't remember, anyway a few miles away). That's why they all have English accents.

So it wasn't Ruby who torched the stall. Avani gave a guilty look at Priya, but that was presumably because she was the 'witness' and lied. If it was Lily, she was presumably pissed and it was an accident. But she didn't seem very upset - you'd think she'd feel terrible about setting fire to her younger sister's memorial gifts.

Yet again the lack of CCTV strikes Walford...
