My DH works in the evenings and I'm trying to get out of the habit of scrolling through my phone to pass the time!

Can anyone recommend any funny series I can get stuck into?

Some stuff I've watched in the past and loved:

English Teacher (binged this last week and it's great)
Motherland (was very late to the party but also watched this recently! Would love to watch some more UK stuff)
What We Do In The Shadows
Stath Lets Flats
People Just Do Nothing
Schitts Creek
The Office US
Parks & Rec
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Curb Your Enthusiasm

I haven't watched much tv over the past couple of years so think I might have missed some good series. Any recs welcome!

Love it. It’s just heartwarming in every way.
And the two coppers absolutely nail it.
Might go and watch it again!

Tango Whiskey Alpha Tango Sierra

It's full of in jokes.

To the regiment… I wish I was there!
No spoilers for anyone but it’s just full of characters I love. Joan and Eddie are my favourites and I love the goings on with Winnie and the mother upstairs.
It is such simple humour especially if you are Nothern… but you don’t have to be.
I still love the Royle Family, but have seen it that many times I know every word. I was in my 20’s when it first came out. Loved it but used to rail at the state of the house, and the ashtray, and the fact that only Barb and Dave worked. My mum couldn’t stand it, my dad roared laughing.
Now when I watch it, it reminds me that before the internet families did used to sit together like that, and while the Royles didn’t have much the love in their home just springs out at you.
I’ve now passed Barb’s age and I’m moving towards my Nana era now. 😂
