They're now both on for half an hour every weekday (Edit- they will be on during these times shortly)

So emmerdale at 8, corrie at 8.30

Which means your evening can flow smoothly through all the soaps

Has anyone mentioned this scenario. Cindy hears Bianca and then sees Reece but he sees Cindy and hits her with the shovel or that too far fetched.

Has Cindy got amnesia from her attack?
She hasn't mentioned it , but it could be that she is airbrushing a lot away or simply can't remember anything she did see or hear ?
The police were more interested in her naming someone and the ' lead' with Lauren didn't go anywhere. The shovel isn't showing any DNA or fingerprints and the police don't seem to have any more interest in the case so far
Cindy has accused Lauren and Kathy , but she hasn't any real evidence of anything really.
The video ring bell footage showed Junior upset , but he took the shovel , which he wouldn't have done if he was the attacker ( unless it was just to wipe it and pretend to Cindy it was someone else ?)

It would be kinda fittin' if Phil met his end in the Pit though, literally underneath the Arches where it all started. They could leave him there with a few earthly momentos for his journey to the afterlife, some spanners and a set of feeler guages - concrete it over and put a nice brass plate on top. He could become an East End tourist attraction. The Tomb of the Unknown Hoodlum.

Your post made me smile, but Phil is a great soap actor and even though he isn't perfect, his played the part well and deserves a really good send off with Julia's theme and all sorts!
He has been consistently good and has had a lot of big stories over the years.
I put him on par with the late June Brown in terms of acting skills and being convincing.
I've always liked the character even when his being really nasty!

I'm more concerned for Bianca at the moment
She's been there for months now and no sign of anyone looking for her :(

Phil falling into the pit made me really gasp aloud in horror - not often EE can surprise me but I didn't see that coming at all. I hope he's okay.

Steve McFadden is RADA trained, he could act most of the cast out of their socks. It really shows in some of the scenes he has with the poorer actors who just shout their lines and play themselves.

I agree. Same with Diane Parish, who also went to RADA.

I've been impressed by Natalie Cassidy in the last few weeks. I find her performances very believable. I also think Michelle Collins is doing well with some very ropey writing.

I don't mind Cindy tbh.
She is one of the more interesting characters around

They do a ‘Phil in peril’ story every year but Steve McFadden won’t leave unless he retires or does something truly heinous and gets sacked.

Just finished watching tonight's episode and what an emotional one!

Brilliant scene between Phil and Nigel and also Ravi and Priya.

I too want Ravi to get back together with Priya. She is not only gorgeous, but a pretty good actress too imho.
