I always enjoy the scenes where you know full well the actress is pregnant, and they try to conceal it with big coats, standing behind chest high furniture, massive bags and the like. It's like a PG version of that scene in Austin Powers.

Nugget really was a little shit in this episode. Vinny is weak, but fundamentally good, Nugget is weak and shitty.

Nugget needs a few home truths.
Nish did not build any empire, he was in prison for killing some poor bloke for no reason. Suki and her children built the businesses up.
Nish was not made to act the way he did. He chose to.
Vinny is correct that Nish was very skilled at giving and withdrawing love and approval to manipulate. I always felt sorry for Vinny as he is clearly desperate for parental approval and love, tries everything to get it, only to be treated like the runt of the litter. Suki also uses this to manipulate Vinny.

I think Nugget is acting totally understandably for his age. His mother on the other hand... totally ridiculous move to go all CSI. What did she think he was going to be prosecuted for, exactly?

Would anybody mind summarising the Biance and Sonia storyline? It happened before I started watching and sounds like it's going to come back into play soon.

Bianca is in a lock up, has been for months, with just a bucket and Reiss for company. Not sure what she is even getting to eat. No one seems to care that she's gone missing and not contacted anyone. The smell must be horrendous by now.

Yes, Nugget is annoying but totally consistent behaviour in an immature teenager who has been manipulated.
The cleaning of the flat was totally bonkers. What evidence could there have been of Nugget being there? a few prints on sandwich wrappers? Would the police have his prints? could he not just say he touched them in the mini mart, stacking shelves or shopping? Surely a freshly cleaned flat stinking of bleach would be far more suspicious and meant that the accomplices knew/were at the wedding which narrows down your search. I would also imagine that forensically cleaning a crime scene take more than 10 minutes and a couple of bottles of bleach. It was a stupid risk of getting caught in the act.

Bianca and Sonya Storyline.
Sonya is in a relationship with Reiss. They went through IVF and she is now pregnant. It turns out that Reiss was using other peoples money to fund this IVF, one of these was Debbie. Debbie is his wife who has been in a care home, in a vegetative state, the money was for her care fees and partly funded by her parents. Reiss smothered and killed Debbie to avoid mounting care bills and pocket her life insurance. But Sonya is currently in remand awaiting trial for the murder as she visited Debbie that day and there is physical evidence linking her to the pillow/murder weapon.
Bianca, Sonya's sister, never believed her to be capable of murder and started to get suspicious of Reiss. She voiced her suspicions but nobody believed her. Whilst investigating Reiss, Bianca got her hands on a memory stick with CCTV from a business next to the care home. The footage shows Reiss beiing at the care home that night, contradicting his alibi. Reiss found Bianca watching the footage and kidnapped her. She is currently being kept prisoner in a garage/ lock up (been there since November).

To be fair to Priya , she wasn't thinking straight and wanted Nugget to be in the clear.

It is Bianca from years ago who was once with Ricky butcher.
Sonia and Bianca are half siblings. Carol Branning is their mum and Bi's dad is David Wicks.
Not sure who Sonia's dad was / is.

When Brian Conley came in the show he pretended to be Sonia's dad! ( his name was Rocky cotton )
Turned out he was in cahoots with Nasty Nicks daughter who was actually a good character ( Dotty ) and after money I think.
He ended up being sussed and he wasn't her dad after all.
He married Kathy , but is now in prison for torching the cafe for money. He was finding out about Keanus murder , so Kathy had to find a way of getting rid of him.
I'm really not sure who Sonia's dad is.

No Sonya is adamant that Reiss is this amazing man despite him being a weasely, thieving cocklodger. She definetely doesn't think he has anything to do with Debbies death.
Most people are buying his hapless and harmless routine apart from Bianca and possibly Debbie's mum who certainly suspects he has a dark side and knows he is a thief.

As much as I like Eastenders, this storyline with Reiss and the others has really gone off the boil !

Sonya's dad was called Terry but she never knew him. Apparently he was abusive to Carol and she left him either before giving birth or soon after.
Sonya decided to track him down in 2020, and met with Rocky who was pretending to be Terry abroad and he followed her back to the square.
