What is she chained to on the wall? I feel she could have sort of dug it out by now whatever it is, given the fact that the lock up seems full of all sorts of stuff so there must be something she could use there somewhere. I mean it's only a shabby brick built lock up and Reiss hadn't planned this captive situation so surely she can do something, she's had long enough.

Peter does look quite guilty but then they've made him look guilty by burning the scarf. (Could one actually burn a scarf? If wool, wouldn't it just smoulder, or if poly it would melt? Not offering to test it out on my cashmere scarf. 😂)

I took Ian's secret little smirk to show he's got what he wants, he's 'won' Cindy back again - not that he's got anything planned for her at all as revenge. I think he feels smug because he's got her back again. After all, he knows what she is like more than anyone.

Maybe the point of that little stay will be that Cindy now hates Reiss, so will be looking at him a bit more than other people do, or will watch him while she is recuperating a bit and will see him with his mysterious comings and goings on the square. I really hope so!

I think right now the script writers are enjoying making every suspect look like 'the one' in turn!

It the old trope of us thinking it's any one of them. I'm sure it'll be ' milked ' a lot in the next few weeks.
