Just catching up. THIS enrages me, because they edited this into what we see, and they manipulated the participants into awful relationships, and they cast a collection of damaged and vulnerable people.

They don’t get to stand back now and say ‘be kind’. The production team should be apologising for what they’ve broadcast and the harm it could cause. Including to participants.

I know people on here dislike Gemma from the previous series but she has been very clear in interviews just what a profound impact appearing in the show had (she ended up in psychiatric inpatient treatment) and how the editing of her ‘storyline’ was distorted. She should never have been cleared to appear. And yet two years later the production team is still at it, and seem to have upped the ante.

She is 33 but looks like 50 with all that work. So shocked as she is a very i teligent woman shame she couldn't see the error in aging herself 20 years!

I think they get away with it because of a water tight contract so they are not liable.
I doubt offcom complaints will change much though.
