I read an interview with Sagar Radia where he said Rishi being arrested was the last scene he filmed for the show. So we may not see him again this season.

Although scenes aren’t always filmed in ‘chronological’ order …

my brain just goes: tiny girl worried she lose money/her boss angry she lose money/rich girl sad her dad is awful/poor boy sad he like rich girl etc etc

was watching Uncut Gems a couple of days ago and that was a walk in the park by comparison

It was so intense. I haven't caught up on the latest episodes, but I kind of hope that isn't the end of Rishi's story as I was kind of hoping for some sort of redemption for him. I know he is awful, but aren't they all?

When this series is over, I'm looking forward to starting from the beginning again.

Btw I have also done a deep dive into the Reddit board for this, but something didn't sit right with me about how much hatred there is for Yas. As in, she is not just contemptuous but is also so stupid, so out of her depth etc. It felt a bit misogynistic? I don't normally go on Reddit, so maybe that's par for the course there. Think I am happier on Mumsnet.

I was struggling with this series so did ep4 with subtitles. Massive difference! Query if I know go back to ep1 although I really didn’t enjoy the first couple of episodes compared to the previous series(es)

I had to rearrange my Monday to watch this in 20 minute bites. Wow, what an episode.

I read recently that shortly after Trump was elected a senior inv banker told the FT that it was now ok to say 'retard' and 'pussy' again.
Otto Mostyn in Season 4 episode 1 says something similar.

Makes me wonder how many more storylines in Industry are inspired by true stories...

That’s a great analogy. I’m intrigued by the fact he could tell Harper he was proud of her but it took a great deal of effort to reply to his dd that he loved her too.

My take was that Whitney is in hock to The Russians. I didn’t get the Japanese reference but it would be Triad related if they are involved. Neither of these two let you off the hook…so Whitney has to keep going/swimming moving the same money around making it look like he has more than he does or his own life is in peril.

Yes Harper knows he is being blackmailed but Eric is mortified by what has happened. It was the poignancy of the scenes that got me in this episode - he discovers his pride for Harper/his daughter has just told him she loves him just as his whole work-related world comes crashing down on his best day ever at work. The bravery of him facing down Whitney at CNN was heart-stopping.

Blimey, I didn't see any of this coming - is the implication that Whitney is a Russian asset?
