Fraser on channel 4

I would love to know how many times Fraser has looped on channel 4 mornings, its got to be over 20 years of being shown now. I love seeing the first series with Frasers hair down to his his shoulders and Marty Cranes bad attitude, which suits his character so much better than the soft agreeable Marty we end up with , I still laugh even though I've seen them a few times, I've never actually seen them all the way through to the end.
If anyone actually knows how many times the series has restarted I would like to know lol

I don't know but it's my go to show to watch whenever I am making dinner. I never get tired of it. My favourite episodes are the one where they do the old-fashioned radio drama, the one where Niles gets his pet cockatoo stuck on his head and the one where he thinks he's been kidnapped in a Winnebago. I think Niles has to be the best-performed character in a sitcom ever.

I watched it when I was young….thought it was funny but clearly didn’t get all the references. Watching as an adult is completely different, and you appreciate the clever writing. So I’m grateful that it’s never really been off the tv.

Frasier hits back calling him ‘waltzes with snobs’

The first time I seen that I would have laughed thinking that Frasier was just cutting down Niles for being a snob. But it wasn’t until I was an adult and had seen Dances with Wolves, that I got the reference when watching the re runs.

Such a great show.

My favourite scene by far though, is when Marty introduces Sherry to the group. It’s 5 mins of pure comedy gold

I love Fraser and also never get tired of seeing it. I was just talking about it the other day. Bebe has to be one of my favourite characters. They were all great though and the writing is genius.

When did it stop being Frasier?

Oh yes, any episode with Bebe is brilliant. The one where she goes out on the window ledge.

Although I think my favourite supporting character has to be Gil.

I can watch it anytime I catch it, doesn’t matter that I’ve seen the ep 40 or 50 times before. If C4 ever stops showing it, we riot.

The other one I was talking about the other day was when he meets her in the hotel room and she tries to seduce him like the devil.

Another great character is the radio owners daughter, I can't remember her name but she wouldn't stop talking. Just brilliant.

Nearly didn't come on to this thread because I wondered what show there was on c4 that was called "Fraser"

Our two cats are called Frasier and Niles: they suit their names, one bigger, louder and more bumptious and the other smaller, finer and more neurotic.

I don't know if anyone remembers Felicity Hoffman playing Frasier's obnoxious girlfriend and everyone ignores her choking then Frasier dumps her because she criticises his towels.😁

I can watch it over and over, absolutely love it. Must admit the later episodes when Daphne and Niles are a couple are nowhere near as good as the earlier ones though. The writing is so so good and all of the characters are fantastic.

So hard to choose a favourite episode, but I do love the ski chalet one, the one mentioned upthread by @Twistybranch where Martin introduces Sherry, and any episode featuring Lilith

I love Niles. What a brilliant comic character! I love the ones where he gives updates on the behaviour of Maris.

I like the one where Niles buys Maris the gift of a walk on part at the opera.
Turns out the part is Ulrich, the hunchback dwarf who lifts the gate at the Lord's castle.
Marty: "Gee, I hope we can pick her out!"

I am not crazy! I am dating a supermodel zoologist, whom I stole away from a professional football player, and she is off to the Galapagos Islands to artificially inseminate iguanas! Now is that so hard to believe.

The Valentines episode with Niles is making dinner at Frasiers apartment and decides to iron his trousers is an absolute masterclass is physical comedy.

It's also my go to show while cooking 😊

No idea how long it's looped but long may it continue. I'd take an episode of Frasier over Everybody Loves Raymond any day of the week

The Valentine for Niles is brilliant.

I'm on mat leave and it has been our little routine to watch every morning whilst having breakfast / feeding etc. But I've noticed channel 4 don't show it in sequential order and don't always show all the series? Sometimes they randomly skip series. Does anyone know why?

Sorry, I've no idea why. It's probably on All4 in sequence?

I liked Star Mitzvah when Frasier unwittingly gives a blessing in Klingon.

Out With Dad is my favourite episode, but they're all absolutely brilliant!

The humour is so clever and the casting is perfect.
