Fraser on channel 4

I would love to know how many times Fraser has looped on channel 4 mornings, its got to be over 20 years of being shown now. I love seeing the first series with Frasers hair down to his his shoulders and Marty Cranes bad attitude, which suits his character so much better than the soft agreeable Marty we end up with , I still laugh even though I've seen them a few times, I've never actually seen them all the way through to the end.
If anyone actually knows how many times the series has restarted I would like to know lol

Same! Frasier is the only tv series in the entire world I can watch over and over and over again and never get bored of it.

It's literally gold. My favourites are "the doctor is out" with Patrick Stewart and "The two Mrs Cranes" - with Daphne's ex Clive.

For the poster who mentioned the new Frasier. I quite liked it too. It wasn't a patch on the original but I liked the homage to John Mahoney with the bar they frequent 'Mahoneys'.

I think they'll be a second season and I don't think it's quite found its feet yet but compared to lot of other dross out there it's quite funny

And now.. the one where Daphne keeps catching people in her bedroom.

The bit at the end of this is hilarious, where they’re all in there throwing her underwear around, including Eddie.

I like the new Frasier (there was a thread in Telly Addicts at the time); it found its feet in the later episodes and became pretty good.

I like Frasier, not love. So I'm in the minority. It can get a bit boring at times and then all too chaotic, especially with the incredibly fast talking during Frasier and Niles scenes, then Daphne's fast talking with the ear-piercing, nasally voice and British accent that drones on and on. It all takes some ignoring to power through. Still I like a lot of the scenes and the show in general.

Definitely love other shows much more than Frasier. I preferred the Daphne actress in Hot in Cleveland. She and the other lady (the tall slim one - can't remember her name now) were hilarious. Loved that show.

Anyone remember the episode where there's a new radio presenter who's estranged from her mother so Frasier invites her to the studio and she's a lunatic. She's chasing after the presenter who's screaming.

Christine Baranaski. She was brilliant as Dr Nora . Iirc (without googling ), Laurie Piper played her toxic mother.

Got the name the wrong way round: it's Piper Laurie

His physical comedy scenes - the narcolepsy and the Valentines one, where he is getting ready for a date, ironing his trousers, spots a hole, goes for needle and thread picks his finger, faints at the sight the blood, comes round, sees the blood and faints again, are worthy of Buster Keaton.

Daphnes line: "oh I'm sorry dr crane, here's me idoiling with the laundry when we're 10 minutes into caviar time!"

When Frasier asks Bebe if theres any chance she wasn't involved with the crane choking on a gobstopper. 'Oh darling, there's always a chance.'

When Niles gets stuck in the lift and has to climb the Christmas tree, and then the way he staggers into the apartment and collapses behind the couch 😂Niles is definitely my favourite character. His physical comedy and even facial expressions are just spot on.

I don't need to - I wasn't trying to start a HIC appreciation post; it was clearly just a side talk about the actress that played Daphne from Frasier.

I edited the post before i saw yours because I decided to not fight attack with attack. Lol. I could tell you were touchy about me not loving - but liking - Frasier. It's just a show unless Frasier is your relative

I love Frasier so much! One my my fave scenes is Niles doing kick boxing

I got a half price offer for Paramount+ last year, mainly to watch the Frasier reboot. It was....OK I suppose and I was mildly amused. I would watch season 2 if I could.

Is there any way to get a short eg month subscription to Paramount? Not paying for another year as it has almost nothing I want to watch.
