Ah they have that one that briefly dated Rida who didn't finish operating on Stevie because Rida called in Mr Whitelaw. He's about 16 but I'm sure he's fine (have reached that age where suddenly a lot of Professionals look like children compared to my haggard face!). He's gonna be busy!

Doubleraspberry · 16/06/2025 12:37

We assume the surviving Holby City lot are all beavering away up there too!

spiderlight · 16/06/2025 13:12

Absolutely - lovely Sacha and Dom are definitely still up there, and Elliott Hope is probably back as well, just waiting for the BBC to realise the error of their ways.

AnImaginaryCat · 16/06/2025 13:17

There's also Nicole. She's surely a fully qualified surgeon by now. Least it must be a six month surgery programme in Holby.

Sacha descended briefly at one point, didn't he? More of that please.

But, but, but, for the last 6 months every time someone has needed a surgeon, it's been Mr Whitelaw stepping up between gropes. Whether it was orthopaedic, major heart surgery, gynae, oncology, he was there, scalpel at the ready, breathing bugs into every wound as he was too wonderful to wear a mask. So surely he was the only senior surgeon available and the Holby lot have disappeared into a big black hole?

Didn't she get booted out of the surgery team after telling Whitelaw where to stick his job? I wondered if she was Rash's cousin's replacement.

FagsMagsandBags · 16/06/2025 21:51

Maybe she's decided that Emergency medicine is where she wants to specialise? Surgery will be very tainted for her and despite them "winning" it will put a big large mark against her in her career. And she's a good doctor in A&E.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/06/2025 15:03

I’m guessing a drug overdose /bad drugs for the bit 2w after

ngozi is def drinking so wasn’t a one off. Wonder where she is living now

as I said before I don’t blame Nicole. She obv had a bad exp with alcohol

@daffodilandtulip I hope that pharmist lady will get with rash

plus she was pissed off that he did t sign off the vet supply I knew he would fuck it up

he was so sweet with the cf couple

I think Stevie and Flynn will get together. As used to know each other

he was silly having kids delivered ro hosiital then working. Not suprised kids pissed off and wanted to go back to mum

ian seemed to take forever to climb. I get it’s a long way but it was twilight then pitch black as he reached the top but less than 30mins as HART other company wasn’t there

silly indie leaving out the important drugs

great recap @Littletreefrog

daffodilandtulip · 20/06/2025 21:18

Didn't someone bring the kids in, saying that mum had dropped them off? She probably did it on purpose to piss him off or make him look bad.

Agenoria · 20/06/2025 23:02

I have the impression that, over the years, they've fairly regularly used the SL that some staff member has to look after their children when they're working, and it causes chaos every time. Another example of Holby's weird employment practices.

purpleme12 · 20/06/2025 23:03

Definitely happened before! 😆

daffodilandtulip · 21/06/2025 09:59

It's like how partners and teenagers always just turn up for a chat when they're working. Never in 27 years of working in the grown up world, has anyone popped into work to see me!

Whatthetrolley · 21/06/2025 10:38

Where did the near empty bay come from?!

purpleme12 · 21/06/2025 11:33

What do you mean?

daffodilandtulip · 21/06/2025 22:09

I called rat poison before they did!

Do the writers think that if we don't find out the staff history the week after we've seen them behave a certain way, we'd forget? Why do we have to launch straight into a back story explanation of why she kicked Ngozi out? That's not how buried secrets work out in real life.

Also predicting that something bad will happen to the girl and she'll be back and Nicole will feel guilty and she'll come to live with her and they'll all live happily ever after.

And I can now post the screenshot I couldn’t DM you (you watch everyone else now say they think it is her 🤣) I’ve marked it as sensitive in case anyone really doesn’t want a spoiler!

When I posted this screenshot I knew it wasn’t Jan but she did look familiar and it turns out it was Mandy Jordache 🤣

What do you mean?

When they had the party for the foster child, there were 4 beds and only 1 had a patient in a place I'd never seen on screen before.

Extra rooms pop is as needed, like I'm Harry Potter. Like when the group of young nurses all started together and they found a room full of play equipment (which apparently was never used for actual children) to hang out in.

LIZS · 22/06/2025 08:22

It looked the like the cancer ward Stevie was on. Why was the girl kept in hospital at all then apparently discharged with noone to support her?

Doubleraspberry · 22/06/2025 08:23

I think it was meant to be the children’s ward. She was supposed to go to a home (I think I caught that) but in the end left herself with someone we’re assuming is dodgy.

LIZS · 22/06/2025 08:22

Because she turned 18, so they don’t have a responsibility to her, other than give her a hostel bed. If she left the day before, she would have had to go to a foster family.

Doubleraspberry · 22/06/2025 08:44

Ah! How did I miss the significance of her birthday? Of course.

Me too!
