Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

Freddie n Anna won't be together too long if they do get together
It's not possible to be happy on the square ! lol

Shellingbynight · 12/09/2024 15:54

I meant to say, I noticed Bianca is back the week after next. That is one return I am looking forward to.

the80sweregreat · 12/09/2024 16:10

Biancaaaaa !!
I hope it's a better story than the Whitney / Britney one was

lazymum99 · 12/09/2024 16:58

There was also the Moon that David Essex played. That got me watching avidly. Had a thing for him since I was about 12 and saw That’ll be the Day

the80sweregreat · 12/09/2024 17:01

David Essex played Eddie Moon
He wasn't in it that long , had some kind of liaison with a woman who wore a lot of white clothes and then disappeared
I'd forgotten how many Moons have appeared in EE. I remember Alfie's first appearance too
He was a charmer back then.

Southeastdweller · 12/09/2024 17:09

There was a Spencer as well. I can’t recall what happened to him.

Hope everyone enjoyed today’s episode.

Wasn't Spencer moon Alfie's brother ?
Dunno what happened to him either
Liked Nanna. She died

Eastie77Returns · 12/09/2024 18:44

Didn’t Spencer get Vicky pregnant?

The only thing I remember is the unbalanced brother, maybe Danny, had Phil and Grant tied up in the woods and was going to shoot them. As he was about to his brother Jake shot him and saved the Mitchells.

I didn’t remember Jake and Chrissy as a couple at all until she started reminiscing in the prison cell.

Nannylovesshopping · 12/09/2024 19:03

Help please, who was the guy Chrissie was in the car with?

Bunionbabe · 12/09/2024 20:19

Might just be my dodgy memory but didn't Anna and Fred have fumble before she and Bob got together? That E-type Jag is a collector's piece, worth a fortune. Is Jake a wrongful?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/09/2024 20:58

David Essex played Eddie Moon
He wasn't in it that long , had some kind of liaison with a woman who wore a lot of white clothes and then disappeared

WhiteClothesWoman must've been Vanessa played by Zoe Lucker

the80sweregreat · 12/09/2024 21:23

Yes. Anna and Freddie had it away in the chippie (once )ages ago.
I did laugh at 'potato crisis ' even if the whole storyline is a bit boring
Not sure what Jake did and I don't remember him in it at all ! The car was lovely, so his clearly loaded. People do much better away from the square.

Southeastdweller · 12/09/2024 22:01

The Joel cameo was very hush hush and from what I saw didm't leak out to the media. It's nice that our favourite silly soap can still surprise is:

I enjoyed that episode. I thought Chrissie's first and last episodes worked well. The middle episodes didn't really make sense and went round in circles.

I liked the ending. I always found Jake a non-event, he was lacking in personality, but it was a nice ending for Chrissie.

Chrissie obviously visited the clothes and shoe shops before she arrived in the Square.😉

Yes - Eddie Moon! I loved David Essex.

Eastie77Returns · 12/09/2024 22:58

I was very nervous for Sharon when Chrissie walked into the laundry room while she was using that massive iron! It was a nice ending but unbelievable that they ended up on such friendly terms just a day after Chrissie tried to stab and scald her. Hopefully the prison scenes are over. The ‘actors’ who played the prison bullies were laughable.

I still don’t understand if Linda has actually gotten away with murder? Perhaps the detective she confessed to just threw away the interview tape, he looked as if he just couldn’t be bothered with it all.

Lol at Cindy telling Anna that Bobby is “safe, steady and dependable”. Would you really use those words to describe the boy who murdered your daughter😭

Shellingbynight · 13/09/2024 08:27

It was very weird that Sharon had a job with a dangerous implement and Chrissie (supposedly in isolation) was allowed to wander in. The prison scenes were not EE's finest moment! I did love them bonding over the killings though, so many similarities between them. Chrissie shouldn't have got 19 years.

Linda didn't commit murder, it was self defence. The story she told Arthurs could not have been true so he discounted it as her being 'tired and emotional'.

The whole Cindy-Bobby situation is odd. She seems to have forgotten he killed Lucy!

the80sweregreat · 13/09/2024 09:18

I just think that Cindy has forgiven Bobby now.
Not sure how you could, but considering she hired a hit man to try and kill Ian once , she probably thinks they will bring up too much history about her if she had frozen Bobby out too much and not made an effort
She wasn't keen at him at first and was nasty to him. However, it's all understandable being like that.

CelestialNexus · 13/09/2024 11:14

Anyone want to take a bet on Chrissys baby not being a miscarriage? and a 19 year old turning up soon?

the80sweregreat · 13/09/2024 11:41

I did wonder if Chrissie's child might rock up !
Right age to cause a bit of havoc

Itisjustmyopinion · 13/09/2024 13:35

Was scrolling through Tik Tok last night and came across a clip of Archie’s Will reading where Roxie gets everything and Janine loses it.

One of the beneficiaries was Amy who will get £100k on her 21st birthday. Few years away but I wonder if that will be remembered

Also on this week, Chrissie’s hair being a different shade of blond at the end compared to the beginning made me laugh. I am guessing the hairdressers was the first place she went when Jake picked her up 😂

the80sweregreat · 13/09/2024 13:47

I wished i had been the recipient of £100,000 k on my 21st ! 😆
Lucky to get a card and a cake

the80sweregreat · 13/09/2024 13:53

Amy is coming up to 16 in November
( born 2008)
I like Amy.

Eastie77Returns · 13/09/2024 13:58

Unlikely they will remember about poor Amy’s inheritance! I recently watched the iPlayer classic Xmas day episode when it is revealed that Jack, not Sean, is her dad. Almost every child on the square has a complex who’s the daddy back story. Phil is in a relationship with evil April Branning and Ben is about 8, still so meek and sweet😂

Lol Chrissie had time to stop off at the hairdressers and do a spot of clothes and shoes shopping. The 19 years inside is ridiculous. Obviously she didn’t have Ritchie on the case!

Martin mentioned Sonia has been moved to a baby and mother unit (but she has no baby atm…) so presumably she will bump into Ruby there.

Shellingbynight · 13/09/2024 14:45

How long do you get to stay in a mother and baby unit? Ruby's child would be a toddler now. I don't know how long her sentence was, but she's another one who would surely be out before now.

I think someone said earlier in the thread it now makes sense why Martin was in the photo with Sharon - I must have missed something because I still don't know?
