Yes I agree there is nothing for Bernie to return to. I certainly wouldn't complain if I never saw her again!

I thought that was a poor episode. The prison scenes went from bad to worse, they really wasted Chrissie’s return. TAO is such a good actress, I don’t know why she returned for this. As for Phil going after her because she put Sam in prison 19 years ago - he doesn’t even like Sam.😆

Linda went away for several weeks after Mick's death, I can't remember who she stayed with - Lee? I agree she needs to do that again and return refreshed.

I quite enjoyed it. I'm intrigued to see if Sharon will tell the governer tomorrow that Chrissie attacked her and then Chrissie will be passed over for parole, or whether she'll give into the blackmail which possibly leads to Chrissie returning to the square for an episode or two. It really is silly that Sharon told her some of what happened with Keanu, just like she was gullible about Reiss being a great accountant a few months ago even though she knew he'd stolen from Debbie.

I know TAO is fairly well-known but she's been in the business long enough to know that the media attention her return would attract would be great for her profile.

Doesn't matter if Phil liked his sister or not ,she's family and he likes a grudge and a punch up.
( plus his beloved Sharon is being intimidated too and he adores her )
So I guess he'll get involved soon enough

Freddie / Bobby / Anna and the whole family at the Vic are boring ( Linda apart)
Anna goes for an abortion apparently ( next week) and Kim tries to save Sonia ( because she hasn't done much since coming back from the cruise job)

I know Sam is famerlee but I can't see Phil putting a lot of effort into chasing Chrissie down after 20 years. Sharon was so dim to give Chrissie any hints about what happened at Christmas.

Chrissie will get her hair done at 'fox and hair ' and pretend not to know anyone and get some of the story from there ( or something random like that !) she'll sneak around piecing it together until she is rumbled.
I can't recall who was about 19 years ago , but Denise definitely wasn't as she didn't appear until 2006 and I'm sure it was after the whole Den watts killing thing! Although they might not be keen to talk about it , but she's bound to find out somehow!
Kat was around and won't be happy to see her.

You just know that Kim will be so manic trying to save Sonia! I've seen a few photos in the tv guide and it's how you imagine it to be 😆

I think that’s the last we see of Chrissie. Her last scene was very satisfying.

I thought we only got a week of Chrissie, TAO is very busy. I'm encouraged you say the end was satisfying @Southeastdweller because I haven't enjoyed much of it! So far it has seemed rather pointless.

Kim and SOS t-shirts... not much to look forward to there either!

They seem to have completely forgotten the Kat and Tommy storyline. And way too much Anna/Freddie/Bobby in next week's spoilers.

I loved Christie's final scenes and the surprise cameo. Lovely tie up and they set the scene for rubys return..

Couldn't care less about Anna/bobby/freddie but I guess it's for the young uns!!

I don't remember Jake Moon ( only Michael )
All that was a bit of a blur although I remember Vicki and Zoe etc.
I'm glad that they kind of made up.

I liked her at first , but they turned into a nasty character.

Avani starts dating an older man
Which we are meant to be shocked about , but I doubt I'll end up caring that much .,
Priya and Ravi will sort him out I suppose

The older man will probably be in his mid 20s and therefore look the same age as Avani, so the story won’t work. I really noticed the age difference between her and the actor playing Barney in today’s episode, yet they expect us to believe Barney and Avani are in the same class at school.

Yes, I thought that South about the age of Avani and not looking 14 or 16 or whatever she is meant to be ! This Mason is 25 , so probably only a year older than the Avani actress in real life !
They will probably have her in the Walford high uniform all the time in order to convince us she is too young for him. I hope it's a short story as it may be annoying and I just hope she isn't another pregnancy 🙄🥱

I don't think it is as the tv guide mentions Bobby as the dad , but you know what they are like on EE and it was around five weeks ago too I think ?

No, she did say she wasn't attacked by him that night , but mentioning it made me think that she might have been ? I hope they don't do this though !
Not heard about Bobby dying only leaving , but don't know why or when

He’s going to flounce I think. Sorry, my mistake re: him dying! He’s sooo wet though. Freddie and Anna are are much better match 😊

Freddie and Anna are cute together, but it feels doomed already especially as it looks like she'll have an abortion and then Bobby leaves and Freddie is probably a bit flaky anyway!
However, a happy couple on EE would be nice to see. Make a change.
Now we understand why Sharon had a photo of Martin with her and Albie and not Ken ..

I don't think I was really watching during the Jake Moon era so I didn't recognise him either, but now I see the significance of Alfie coming out the pub but then not seeing each other.
I recognised the actor from The Office, UK version.

Oh yes. The Jake actor played horrible Lee , Dawn's boyfriend in ' the office ' uk .
I really don't remember Jake moon , but I was watching an old one with Michael moon this week and he was fab.

I just wiki'd Jake, I remember him and Danny but not much detail about their storylines. I'd forgotten it was all mixed up with Johnny Allen. And of course there was lovely Nana Moon, who was IMO the best Moon.

I find the combination of Anna and Freddie far too sickly sweet (and annoying) 🤮
