Most mums would come back for their daughters, but Carole was always an odd one.
Sonia needs some help and so does Bianca.

David is the son of Pat and Peter Beale, who divorced, then Pete married Kathy. so he and Ian are half brothers.

You would think they'd have given Carol a proper reason not to return - being ill or something. It's ridiculous to think anyone would trust David to help Bianca, he tends to leave a trail of disaster in his wake.

Linda didn't always have the bun did she? I noticed this year it's the only hairstyle she has now but it wasn't always like that was it?

Some of actresses have wigs or hair extensions that they use for the character which is why it always looks the same, but presumably the bun is Kellie's own hair.

Linda looks better with her hair down I think.
Although it's mostly her outfits that annoy me the most. The flamingo tops are just horrible and those wide lairy trousers and skirts. She looks so much better in more normal clothes and in black too.
Elaine isn't too bad , but surely silky camisoles are not good for changing over barrels in a dirty storeroom etc! The clothes suit her personality though if not that practical.

Linda has had her hair in a (horribly unflattering) bun since the early days.

I don't know any woman who wears silk camisoles as day wear when at work, but that's Elaine for you.

Elaine has quite the camisole collection doesn’t she. It’s odd to think George went from Cindy to her - I don’t mean that in a horrible way as I think Elaine is very attractive but he doesn’t seem to have a ‘type’ as they are so different. I still find their relationship very unconvincing. You can sense his chemistry with Cindy but unfortunately not with her.

Are they still getting married as there has been no wedding talk for a while now..

The men in Cindy's life ! She really is a femme fatale.
Who would say yes to Ian Beale eh?
.. not many women and where did he get those barber shop singers from ?
( most of the barbers round here are Turkish 😆)

Jack is so busy and stressed yet he is hardly ever at work these days and the children are older and can help out. He is such a wimp

The George and Elaine wedding is in November
Will Cindy now start on David do we think ?
He could almost be Pats son, he has her mannerisms at times

Agree that Cindy is more George's type
Elaine is funny and warm and nice looking, but honestly he wouldn't look at her in real life. They are not people you'd put together

@Eastie77Returns When Cindy was bending George's ear about David yesterday she said Elaine wouldn't like her being there, and George told Cindy it was okay because Elaine was out doing 'wedding planning' so it's still on the cards.

I can't see any chemistry between George and Elaine either. And the camisoles 😧

yes the buns have always been around! But she used to have different do's too, I just found this, which is what I was thinking of. A lot more flattering somehow.

Facebook had a photo of the Vic done up for a wedding reception. It was a while ago
( also showed the Mini mart all boarded up too , not sure why ?)
(They said it was for G and E , but you can't always tell on there how true things are at times.
She did say it was going to be in November a while back.

I was wondering that about Bianca and being either in the cafe or stuffing a meal in Watford East, how does she afford it? Unless taco van made loads of money which are her savings.

The Carol Jackson actress looked worn when she was last in EE, but actually having seen more recent photos of her she doesn’t look too bad.

Linda’s hair and clothes have always been dire, they (EE) think as she loves pink and flamingos then that should be her signature look but they forget no one wears those prints let alone that bun in real life.

Dee's new hair is nice..
Have they given up on the salon now ?

Dee has never done any work in that salon, she was always stood behind the till or folding towels. Lola hasn’t been replaced and Kim worked there but took off on the cruise without Dee looking remotely concerned about the workload. So yep, just like the Arches it runs itself!

Well the biggest takeaway from today's episode that I took was that the 'caff' charges £2 for a single donut!!!

£2!!!!

Kat was saying if she got 2 that would cost her £4!!!

Not sure how much doughnuts are as I don't buy them , but we have a small cafe near us and some of their fancy cakes are 3 pounds each! It's not a cheap place to eat though, but nothing special if you get my drift.

I'll have a look next time I'm in a supermarket as be interesting to see what they cost these days for a jam one or chocolate ones.

It's strange that Kat's cabs isn't doing that well ( she is obviously hard up at the moment) yet Sharon swans about like lady bountiful with her businesses ( despite Peggy's being shut for weeks) and Phil isn't short of money , ever.
The Vic has more staff than customers some days yet they all seem well off ( and Denise too, despite never going near a hair dryer let alone opening up ) !

I can totally understand fancy cakes at £3 but a jam doughnut is pretty basic

How sad that I know you can get a pack of 5 in sainsburys for £1.20 (or 24p each!). Maybe I need to reel back the doughnuts consumed!!

Not sure why I don't buy them as they are yummy! 😋

Can you watch classic eastenders like they have classic corrie on itvplayer?
