I didn't think todays one was that bad really
I agree it is going in circles with Reiss and Bianca , but so lovely to see David back and I like how his accent is posh one minute and then a bit east end the next! He is believable as her dad and I had forgotten he helped Cindy escape once.
Denise not telling Jack the truth about Peggy's was a definite 🙄 though.
Although it was all so long ago now I doubt anyone's remembered it happening !
Is anyone going to be prosecuted for it ?

Yolande and her miserable face is getting me down. It was nice seeing Ian smiling today , he seemed to really mean that with Lauren I thought ! That was a nice little scene ( for a change )

I liked Lauren and Peter taking the micky out of Ian for all his marriages. It felt quite natural.
Yolande with her god stuff is becoming boring dare I say.

I agree the scene with Lauren , Ian and Peter was very well done , some realism amongst the other stuff!

She's been wearing the same clothes for days

It was a bit of a dull episode. I never liked David and I haven't changed my mind! He's a chancer and distinctly lacking in charm.

And if I hear anyonelse try to diagnose Bianca....! I think the only diagnosis she needs is 'gobby mare'.

At least they can no longer go round in circles with the Reiss plot as he's beggared off.

I nearly bought that jumper a few weeks ago, I'm sure it was that one, in Next. I'm glad I didn't now!

Random question. Haven't watched much EE lately but David and Bianca story has reeled me back in.... Why can't you watch the week's worth of episodes on i player any more? Is that a recent change?

The episodes arrive on iplayer at 6am on the day of broadcast. They only drop the whole lot in advance during e.g. the Euros/Olympics.

I'm so glad David's back. He always reminds me of the pat days.

Are we seriously supposed to believe he is Bianca's dad though? I mean, they look like there is hardly more than 10-15 years age gap between them ffs!

Just looked it up. Apparently, B is supposed to be 47 and David is 62. So he was 15 when he had her?!?

It's like the age gap between Junior and George.

David was with Carole Branning at a young age and they had Bianca in their teens.
I can never remember who Sonia's dad was though?

Carol was 14 and David 15 when Bianca was born. They like young parents on EE.

I don’t think Sonia’s dad has ever been seen. When Rocky turned up and impersonated him no-one, including Jack, had any idea he wasn’t really her dad. So presumably no-one in the family had met him before. Strangely at no point did Sonia ever contact her mum with a pic of Rocky and say look mum, my dad’s turned up, as that would quickly have revealed his deception.

I was always confused with the dynamics of the Brannings and Pat's boys and used to dip in and out in those days ( it was all VHS videoing and not as as easy to record things back then, so a lot went over my head I think !) plus it's remembering all the different characters and stories that can be difficult ( they rarely do any flashbacks or many catch ups )
Plus it's always different dads and characters that have long gone.
I agree the thing with Rocky as Sonia's dad was silly. Carole not being able to be contacted is also convenient, where is she , the Amazon rainforest or something?
Bring back Dotty , she was great as a Cotton working with Rocky. Far better than Avida or some of the younger ones in it now.

It's a shame Carol didn't pick up the phone (Lindsey's filming the next series of Waterloo Road). A Carol return would have made far more sense and she's a great character. Although of course there would not have been the Cindy-David jeopardy and TPTB seem to think we want to see Cindy shagging everything in sight. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing Ian's face when he sees David.

Simon was Steven's father. Yes, Cindy slept with them all!

TBF between Cindy and Jeanine I don't think there's a man over 40 on the square they haven't done the deed with.

(Jeanine and Reiss would be a match that wouldn't remotely surprise me)

they all wear the same outfits and hair all the time. the womens hair actually really annoys me, they should have them doing different styles, no-one wears their hair exactly the same day in day out.

What happened to Bianca’s flat in Milton Keynes. Has she just left it? Where is her son who she never mentions? What exactly is she living on at the moment since she doesn’t work and presumably wouldn’t be eligible for any benefits? So many questions!

@Foxxo I commented on the last thread that Denise had the same hair style for almost 20 years before she cut it recently. Several people replied that they’ve had the same hair for decades as well!

I agree her bun up do is a bit dated for someone who is still fairly young.
They tend to put them in the same clothes and hair dos forever on EE though, although Kat wasn't wearing leopard print the other day and looked nice.
Seems it kicks off next week about the club crush again. Teddy asks Sharon out.

Please - how are David Wicks and Ian related? They're brothers?

One of my old friends has had the same hair do forever , but I admit mine has chopped and changed a lot over the years ( and colour )
Perms , hi lights , layers , no layers! Been a pain over the years to be honest and costs a fortune these days for a cut and blow dry.
I imagine a few wear wigs , Peggy used to but I think Barbara Windsor once said she had to for some reason anyway!
Something I've never done, although I know a few women who have done for various reasons.

Carole left the square on a motorbike to travel the world lol. Bianca was talking to her on the phone the other day as we caught the tail end of her conversation saying ‘mum it’s not that easy to just get her out of jail’ or something.

No idea where she is. IRL a mother would return if her pregnant daughter was facing a murder trial but in EE people don’t even return for their close relative’s funerals.
