It’s strange because the prices on Stacey’s bap van are the opposite, they are ridiculously cheap!

And yet Elaine was only booking caterers yesterday!

No surprises about Dee and Jack. Apart from anything else Jack seems unable to function without a handmaiden to help him do the laundry and cooking. He really annoyed me last night.

But apart from grumpy useless Jack I enjoyed yesterday's episode, David is at his best when interacting with Cindy and Ian. The proposal was hilariously awful, brilliant to see the faces of three of Cindy's exes/currents standing there staring in disbelief.

Cindy really went after Junior and told him they were ' exclusive ' etc, but now she seems to have forgotten this and not so keen! I guess most men would walk away ( she isn't exactly available and not going to lose Ian or his businesses or his money it seems)

@Foxxo agree I don’t like Jack’s double standards towards Penny and it looks like it was his fault she was in a wheelchair too.

@the80sweregreat EE has these silly storylines whereby the ex of one of them (Teddy) is the new squeeze of another’s (David), all I can say is it’s a very small world in Walford/surrounding areas.

And @RedToothBrush Cindy doesn’t have brains but Ian is a fool with her, forgives her everything and she sees him as her safe option but her heart is really with George who isn’t interested so David comes along and is interested. Junior was only ever a sex distraction for Cindy, nothing serious.

I am catching up on the last few episodes.

I don’t understand why he didn’t already know Cindy was alive. He said he’d heard about Sonia being arrested so obviously someone has been keeping him informed about events on the square. Or at least Bianca would have mentioned it!

Wish David was going to be in it for longer. Surely there’s going to be more to the storyline of him seeing Cindy and Junior.

I’ve just seen some interesting pictures from a location shoot on Twitter of a funeral and Nancy and Lee are back for it.

Did they ever have a funeral for Mick?

They covered that in a scene where David said to Bianca "why didn't you tell me?" And her response was "Why would I? You never ask about me or my family or what's going on." Therefore indicating that their relationship was very patchy and they rarely talked and that David just had a habit of popping up when he could be bothered and wasn't really interested in Bianca never mind gossip.

No because there was no body to bury. Hence all the talk about WHEN Danny Dyer might return...

No funeral for Mick. For insurance purposes he was considered 'dead' but there was no body ever found to leave open the possibility of him returning.

Rumour about Lynda dying at Christmas looks pretty solid then.

White Coffin. Adult sized. Johnny throwing a clear wobbler.

1. It's got to be a Carter if Nancy has shown up especially.
2. No Lee present. But a white Coffin doesn't suggest a man. So not him.
3. White Coffin also doesn't suggest it's Nick.
4. It's not a child's coffin. So not either of Lynda's youngest.
5. Sharon is there.

No other explanation other than Lynda's carked it.

I promise this is the last time I say this 😆 but Linda was the most disposable character of ‘The Six’ so in hindsight I can see why she was chosen to be Keanu’s killer. I’ve been saying for ages I expect Kellie to leave by the end of the year and killing her off means the story will be completely over, also it means that the others won’t go to jail (which logistically would have been difficult as they’re involved with a lot of other characters, unlike Linda). I suppose they could confess, but it’s unlikely.

You can watch classic EastEnders on U channel, which used to be UKTV gold. They stream two episodes a day and the there's two previous years worth on catch up. They're currently streaming 2006 at the moment so the catch up will go back to around 2004.

She kinda of an inconvenience to George being the Landlord really isn't she?

Who are they going to offload the two kids and onto?

Johnny is also disposable but he hasn't had his 'only other gay in the village' relationship with Callum yet. (Oh look Callum is at the funeral supporting him). And he's clearly a mess.

But really the two kids are surplus and taking up precious bedrooms at the Vic. So I guess Nancy 'I never want to have kids with you Tamwar and Zak' Carter will probably be swanning off into the sunset with the two of them soon enough.

Does this also mean Shirley is less likely to return from her extended absence? (she was supposed to still be coming back). After Tina died and Mick died, coming back for Linda was the only thing that really made much sense. Or is Linda's death why Shirley returns to support her grandson Johnny. Remember Shirley supposedly has sided with her son Deano against Linda because she believed him that Linda lied about the rape... Though since Dean has now admitted he did rape Linda theres room there for Shirley to grovel back to Johnny... (Fucking hell this is nearly as complicated as Cindy/David/George/Wicks brothers and their assorted children!)

I really liked Shirley and wanted her to come back...
