Michael French would probably be a big hit if he decided to stay longer than a week or so!
However , I do feel it'll be these old faces (for the 40th anniversary )will just be appearing for a short time and going off again
I wonder if the actors look at Tracey the barmaid , Ian and Sharon and go ' you still here !' 😆

I mean for all the shagging about and murders, not one has featured our Trace...

... How about a murder where everyone thinks it's all the others but really it's Trace cos she's so fucked off at having to keep her gob shut even though she knows X and y were snogging in the corner at lunchtime.

When Patrick, Kim and Howie were in the pub the other night and Yolande was home alone, where were Pearl and Micah? It's like how we never see Annie or Ollie when Linda's off on one. Is there a magical, invisible babysitting service on Albert Square?

A juicy storyline for Tracey would be epic! I still remember when she suddenly revealed that she had had a one night stand with Phil once and he was the best sex she'd ever had! (So even better than the one night stand she had with the gorgeous Dennis Rickman!) 😆

In Coronation Street , "Tracey-Luv" (Tracey Barlow) was upstairs "Colouring in" or later "playing my cassettes"

I don't watch Corrie , but I heard that Tracey was a nightmare child!
It's getting them to their teens that's the hard part for the writers..
Seems Tommy moon is turning into a Tracey Barlow type !!

Occasionally Lauren will say “can Peter etc watch Louie” or you see them in school uniform but a lot of the time they’re locked in that cupboard and only come out if sweet enough for that scene.

Tracy has seen some action. She once had the line “Phil Mitchell? Best sex I ever had.” She also had a one night stand with Dennis Rickman!

(Tracy on Corrie was a nightmare young adult and is reprising that on Classic Corrie which is now in 2005.)

Winston also deserves a storyline! I’m sure he’s been around since the beginning. He seems to pop up as a guest at almost every wedding / knees up in the Vic.

The kids on the square mainly look after themselves. I reckon Albie has been making his own breakfast since he was about 6 months old since Sharon spends her days and evenings waltzing around the boxing den and pub in pristine clothes, hair and makeup. Never on the school run. They could at least have her employ a nanny to make it a bit realistic!

Kat and Bianfca were best buddies when Bianca was in Albert Square. It's not new.

I honestly don't remember Bi and Kat being best friends , but Bianca has been in and out of it whilst Kat is more established.
I Hope Reiss leaves her alone as I like her

Big Ron won the Lottery and left the Square ( the actor died IRL) and there cannot be a NuHead Big Ron.

Big Mo is David’s aunt (she was married to Pat’s brother) which makes her Bianca’s great-aunt.

I don’t know what that makes Bianca and Kat - third cousins or something😂

Years ago someone worked out that Pat was somehow related or linked to virtually every single person on the square at the time.

I wish Michael French was staying. He has great chemistry with Patsy Palmer and fits into the show seamlessly - like he’s never been away. Otherwise, today’s episode was a bit dull.

Thanks for the warning, I will lower my expectations! There have been a few dud episodes lately, where it feels like they are going round in circles.
