I've been voting Punam all series but this is the week that I stopped because I thought she'd come to the end of the road. I'm slightly surprised that she couldn't get more votes than two of Wynne, Sam and Shayne, but I guess the GBP shared my opinion that it was her time, with a forgettable dance and a mid-episode slot.

I'm pleased for Katya because it was looking risky for Wynne this week, and pleased for JB because it would be tough for him to be in the DO twice in a row.

I don't think Punam would have gone much further so I'm ok with her going out this week. I'm sure Gorks is disappointed but will also be glad to get back home to the family. Disappointed Shayne was in the DO cos I liked his dance apart from the faffing abahhhhht at the start.

I liked Punam but I do think it was her turn to go. Im sure Gorka will be disappointed but I think they've both done well.

I think Shayne, Jb and Sam are probably the next 3 to go.
I do like jb and Sam, but I think they're starting to flat line.
Judges will keep saving Shayne.

Agree Sam, JB and Shayne next to go but would also probably through Wynne into that mix as he is very inconsistent and does he have the public support?

DD and I were discussing last night who we thought would make it to the final and I think it'll be : Sarah and Vito, Montell and Johannes, Chris and Diane, and Tasha and Aljaz (although Tasha won't win as she is such a ringer)

According to the Digital Spy spoiler thread Amy wasn't standing with JB when they were waiting for the results. Hopefully she is ok, she seemed alright in the after dance behind the door thing.

They're saying on there twisted ankle.
Which makes it interesting as to who will perform her choreography with him the next two weeks. I'd love it to be Lauren personally but they could use Karen.
Bit of a blow for Amy though. She was anxious about losing her place on Strictly after being ill. It will be anxiety-inducing if her replacement has better chemistry with JB. And we have seen that in the past (Alex-Kevin, Anastacia-Gorka, I'm not sure Brendan was perceived to be better than Artem or Bobby). That said, I like switch-up on DWTS and so am fine with seeing a stand-in for a fortnight.

Ah, papers are reporting she collapsed but is now feeling better. I guess we'll find out this week then if she is up to dancing.

God, Poor Amy

Well, they won't be able to announce it on the show tonight, since they recorded it yesterday. She'll be there, on the TV, when everyone knows she's actually now in hospital.

Not sure Shell depends when she collapsed, they might not be able to pretend

I really hope she's ok. My friend had a hormonal breast cancer, different circumstances to Amy's, but she sadly passed away. Seeing Amy go through her cancer journey has really touched me and I'm so routing for her, I just hope she's going to be ok.

I also wish they’d sort out the Saturday and Sunday night results pretence! Just have the results on a Saturday with a Sunday repeat.

I have been saying this for years! Just have it after the wheel (or whatever quiz show is on). I don't even bother watching the results anymore where as if it was live I would be watching.

When the results show was on a Saturday it was about 5-10 minutes, no dance off, pro dance or interviews with the couples and judges. Also judging by the time the spoiler comes through, they don't finish until around 10:30-11pm, which would be too late to put it on live. Would we rather have just the results like the old days, or the pre-recorded Sunday show? As I don't think we can have both (ie. A 40 minute live results show with all the trimmings).

Apparently not. They had JB stood alone according to Digital Spy moles.

I'm quite shocked by that. Not by Sam - I thought she would go sooner rather than later. But Montell?
