I think with JB he just comes across as a bit.... meh.
I don't feel like we see any of his personality, other than his wife and kids showing up on all the VTs. He's therefore easy to forget. It's a shame because he is actually really talented!

Got up and rushed to check the spoiler. Right decision. I guess viewers don't want a sausage fest, so kept Punam and Sam in. Neither do I!

I guess Chris will win. Which won't make me happy but I am alone in that. I don't have a fave this year anyway.

I really like JB and thought he would be popular. I also thought Amy would get a lot of votes after all she has been through.

I would much rather watch JB dance than Pete.

I think Chris will win which won't make me happy either. I like Chris and his dancing is amazing but I just don't want him to win. I don't like Diane much which doesn't help and find Chris' supposed funny interruptions when Craig is talking annoying

I think Chris's dancing is amazing, given his challenges. I don't think it is amazing on its own. I know that sounds really churlish.

Nobody is really amazing this year.

They're pretty reliable pointers. This season I believe Entertainment Odds has been spot on every week as a guide to who's going home when you combine it with the judges' score. I'll do a MN poll when the numbers get down to six.

I know what you mean. I like JB and Amy, but they haven't really been amazing. I'm left a bit cold by Tasha and Aljaz.

I like Chris but I agree with this :

Looking at the exit polls, It looks like without the judges high scores Tasha would be in trouble.

To be fair, everyone will have correctly assumed she didn't need votes. If I'd been voting based purely on the dances then I'd have thrown her a vote, but I gave all three to Punam, who actually needed them.

However I do think she'll be in a couple of dance-offs before the final.

It won't do some of the contestants' morale and mental health any good to know they're not popular.

Yes. They already know that, if they end up in the DO despite being competent dancers who regularly appear at the top of the leaderboard.

For people like Tasha - it's not that I dislike her. I think she comes across as perfectly nice, and is partnered with Aljaz who is similarly smiley and friendly. Nice couple. But I don't ever vote for her (or former contestants like Kimberley Pussycat or nauseating Debbie McGee) because they are TRAINED DANCERS who have no place on a "celebs learning to dance" show.

Given all the ties on the leaderboard it's tough to call but any of JB, Wynne, Shane, Sam and possibly Punam could be there.

Punam & Gorka v Shayne & Nancy - Punam & Gorka out.

Shame for Punam but many of the others were super strong this week.

So Punam's fanbase couldn't save her this week, presumably as she wasn't deemed to be too undermarked.
I wasn't enamoured by her tango but still think other dancers made more errors in their execution.
Shayne's second DO. His paso wasn't the best but it was better than some of the other routines. Poor sod's going to feel hurt.

Oh no. I wanted Punam to stay. She was far better than Wynne and danced more than Shayne. I thought she was undermarked given everybody got 9s and 10s.
