I'm just halfway through the first episode and was dying to discuss it!

These participants are not what I was expecting at all. They actually sound a lot more interesting than most reality TV fodder.

Who's Caroline? I thought she was called Catherine. But I could be wrong.

Weirdly, Hollyoaks was on in the background, and Darren Osborne was speaking, and it sounded a bit like Tom.
I then looked at the screen, and there's something similar to Tom's facial expressions too. Not saying they look alike, but their mannerisms are similar

Yes, @Hotmess101, That was another resemblance I saw too. Or rather heard - it was his accent and voice tho, more so than how he looks, that reminded me of DG. I was wondering if he was an Essex boy originally from Basildon as he sounds so similar. A bit more early Dave than the current post-LA drawl perhaps.

Just to add, (can't edit on app), although I think voice/accent more than looks I can also see how you're getting the physical resemblance as well. I got the voice of DG maybe slightly before I even got the physical resemblance of JB. If that makes sense?!

Without trying to spoil anything for anyone I just want to say I wouldn't want to mess with Jasmine's mum.

I can't wait for the weddings now. I don't watch anything like Love Island or MAFS so this is my guilty pleasure thing.

I just had a look at the "cast" list on a radio times article. Im sure half of them haven't even been seen. I get that they need enough people to make the odds of some connections high enough. And the ones who don't make a connection won't make good tv. But I'd be really miffed at being listed as being on a show you never saw me on!

OK....someone tell me what's the thing with the gold glasses. They have been everywhere.....the Pods, the honeymoon, the flats and every party......is everything self catering and they have to take their own?

All the US ones have had the gold goblets of doom too.

I think it's for continuity. You can't judge when a conversation has happened because you can't see if a glass is full or empty. I get the feeling they may re-film a lot of the more dramatic conversations too so a solid glass makes it easier. And as we've seen with Sam, less likely to be broken by people throwing them.

That makes sense. It's been obvious with some of the cuts where it's out of order.

I'm liking Cat less now. Why shouldn't he be concerned about assets. That's a real issue. He's only just bought the house (I'm guessing by the fact he's still doing it up) of course he doesn't want to lose it.

I can totally see why he wants a pre-nup, but I thought I read somewhere that they aren't legally binding. And surely it can be changed in 20 years if they're still happily married?

I think Freddie was right to raise the pre-nup, and I’m surprised that a meeting with lawyers (off screen) isn’t included as part of the package. I’d 100% want to protect my assets, even if the pre-nup was only valid for the first five years of marriage.

Re the prenup, tho, why bring it up in the manner he did? It was in the middle of tension. I agree he should be concerned but it was weird how he brought it up.

She's a knob though, so any arguments they have are fine because it means he'll find someone worthy of him. Watch me eat my words soon - no doubt he won't be as lovely as he seems.

I'm a bit behind as only on ep 3 but I'm hoping they have waaaay more chats than it looks like before declaring their love! If that's how it's going though, I LOVE Freddie 🤣

Re the wedding dress episode (9?),

As much as all the dresses were really beautiful, it's amazing how THE dress just glows on people.
Sabrina, Maria and Cat - it was literally 😮😮😮😮 when they walked out in their dresses 🥰

She was awful. I’d stay clear of Jasmine just because of her mother.
