Ok I’m all caught up! I was surprised to see there’s a reunion show released next week which is them all one year later! So these people have been married/not married for a whole year already, I’m surprised there weren’t more spoilers about in the public domain. It must be so strange for them all to watch it back now. It says there’ll be a surprise guest… who will that be?
Anyway, my thoughts.
Demi was marrying herself and it was truly beautiful to watch. She did the right thing and Olly took it really well comparatively. I hope they work it out and at the very least stay friends.
Tom did the right thing but it’s a shame as they were good together. I just can’t believe Maria sticks by those outdated values to the point she can let go of a potentially great relationship. I also thought make up artist was a really good job and very competitive so I’m surprised at his reaction. I do think Tom and Tash might give things a go as sparks were flying there when they met. I really admire Maria’s strength of character and confidence in herself though when they were talking to each other, her faith in Tom’s feelings for her never wavered until the end.
Freddie did the right thing, Cat just wants someone to totally adore her while she treats them like dirt. I don’t understand how she thought she could treat him so badly and he would want to marry her. I also don’t think she should have been on the show given her past and how it’s affected her. She will attract and be attracted to Sam types in the real world, men who say all the right things and make her feel like a Princess but actually it’s all surface level and fake and they’re doing it for their own ends.
Nicole shouldn’t have said I do. You could tell she was really wavering. I could almost see the thought bubble when she said it like “oh what the hell, he’s said yes, let’s go for this!” Which really shouldn’t be what’s going through your head as you say your vows. They both come across as a bit desperate to me but I hope it works out as they both seem like lovely people.
Bobby and Jasmine are the couple I believe in the most so not much to say except her mum is going to be a problem for them so I hope they don’t have much contact with her. The minute they hit a tough spot she’ll be there to drive a wedge between them. She looked jealous of their happiness rather than genuinely pleased for them.
Steve and Sabrina seem like a lovely couple and I hope they work out but I think the children thing is going to be a sticking point down the line.
