Chelsea has also been paying the mortgage on that house which gives her a stake in it I think. She has given up far too easily.
As for wearing the engagement ring from a dead woman. What came into my head was that the Princess of Wales is doing that. He must have proposed with Diana’s old ring! Who knows maybe it was removed from her finger post mortem 😱

I think Diana stopped wearing that ring long before she died .

It would have gone back to the royal jewellery collection to be handed to her sons , she probably wouldn't want to wear it after the divorce ?

It's a completely different scenario, there's no comparison. Reiss stole the ring from his dead wife's finger, days after the murder he committed. Her belongings hadn't been handed over.

Is it because Tommy’s Dad was Michael Moon and it is supposed to show the Apple Doesn’t fall far from the tree idea? He doesn’t look anything like Michael Moon though so I don’t think it is obvious.

Reiss is so annoying but also unconvincing, Sonia is old before her time, can’t she just extract equity from the massive house in London if she owns it outright to sort the debt and baby set up.

@lazymum99 Diana wasn't wearing the ring when she died, they had divorced a year earlier. Also, she wasn't killed by the person handing the ring to his next fiancee!

I agree they are hinting at the Michael Moon connection with Tommy, although they are focussing more on Phil at the moment. My memory of MM is patchy but I thought he was more of manipulator, he didn't go around hitting women did he? Definitely a psycho though.

I was a bit confused though when Alfie said to Kat something like how damaged Tommy would be from her relationship with Phil "having seen all that violence". I didn't know what he was referring to there.

I thought the violence Alfie was referring to, was when that police woman held Kat and Tommy hostage

My memory of Moon is sketchy but I suppose in his final episode he did try to strangle Jeanine and then she stabbed him.

With the Phil violence is it that Tommy got kidnapped by some enemy thugs of Phil’s I can’t remember the storyline as the kidnappings are frequent!

I admit I was a bit 🤨 about William giving his late mums engagement ring to Katherine , but it was pointed (out at the time ) , that it was part of the Royal collection and not been worn by Diana for many years. He must have had some kind of permission to give it to her and it didn't seem to raise too many eyebrows at the time from what I recall anyway !
People pass on jewellery , but with Reiss it's just horrible because he took from the finger of the woman he murdered etc.

Tommy and Kat were held hostage once.

That flash back episode one off they did was good though

Thanks everyone - even now you've said it, I have absolutely no memory of the kidnapping incident. I don't think I have missed episodes so I must have blanked it from my memory! I do hate kidnapping storylines.

He always had a very pristine , perfectly turned out look to him, and beautifully white but slightly irregular teeth which I prefer as it gives the face character .

Tommy and James Ronnie Mitchell's son ) were in the infamous Baby Swap Saga . Eastenders could re write it to find Tommy isn;'t Kat's boy and it would totally push him over the edge !
If he found he was the child of Ronnie and Jack Branning .

I loved the Michael moon character especially with Janine ! A match made in hell , but good fun.

I just thought of something ..
Scarlett ( Janine's daughter) is Tommy Moon's half sister. Two completely different characters , same dad.

Scarlett was the polar opposite of Janine though

I liked Michael Moon, he was a good villain. Not your average 'thump em' type. He and Janine were quite alike!

Now we've been talking about him, it has made me wonder if Teddy is going to be a bit of a Michael Moon reprise - a charming villain. They must be warming up the next villain as both Reiss and Nish are on borrowed time.

Reiss might go on to murder someone else , but I hope he is gone soon tbh as his just annoying
MM was a very good villain, very erudite.
I liked him a lot. Shame he died.
Teddy jumpers might become the new MM , if he winds Phil up again then I'll like him even more.

Diana wore a beautiful HUGE aquamarine ring on her wedding finger after her divorce. Meghan wore it with her wedding evening wedding dress.
Diana left most of her personal jewellery to W&H.

Didn't know this about Diana and her jewellery collections.
I can imagine a lot of it is passed on to family

I was going to put Nugget forward to be Reiss's next victim but I kind of like him now . He's not so arrogant since his brush with death.

Priya gets my vote , she is bugging the tits off of me , from her stupid little snake-neck head-wiggle movements to her horribly entitled attitude .

I'm sure she'll say something to wind Reiss up when he's on the vunerable edge of madness and we'll find out just how dark his dark corners are !
