I felt sorry for Sonia! She just lost her head over Reiss and the idea of a having another baby and getting it right this time.
Even if Reiss confesses they might think he's making it up to get Sonia and his baby out of prison. I can't bear him, hope he's gone soon.

Didn't think much of Jumper's party, looked a bit crap! Camping tables, bright lighting and plastic cups, didn't even see Chelsea's cocktail - very disappointing😂

Jumpers and co had just moved house , so it was a bit sparse!
We didn't even see the obligatory trip to the mini mart for some crisps as they usually do for a 'bit of a do ' ( during the day , which always makes me laugh )

For those mentioning Bergerac, apparently they’re filming it now, with the Irish guy from Crashing. He’s also been in the new David Morrissey thing that’s just come out.

I don’t think Ben ever went to University. She was very stressed about A level exams, I think she took them, but decided to then take a year out to travel, and that got extended.

I’ve just posted a screen shot of Reiss’s phone on the other thread. As Chelsea handed it in, mentioning ‘someone left it’, it started ringing, but I can’t see who it was. So Chelsea definitely knows A phone was left, but not that it was Reiss’s phone.

And finally, is it Reiss’ phone or Reiss’s phone? 🤔

It was the care home ringing to tell him Debbie had died. Sonia tried to ring him, too.

Albert Square must be the only place in London with no surveillance - Kush pushed in front of a Tube - no CCTV on the platform or the station entrance. Phil's car gets nicked- no CCTV in the street. The Six drag a body around - no CCTV. London is one of the most surveillanced cities in the world, but not on EE.

It's Reiss's phone as the phone belongs to him and not more than one phone.
The police are very incompetent so this is bound to drag on I suppose

Yes, it’s such a ridiculous storyline because Keanu was literally strangling Sharon and she had the bruises around her neck so it would have been easier for them to explain all to the police! In fact if someone had called the police during the fracas with Nish things would have been so much easier.

I never believed that Linda could ever kill someone, I just don’t think she’d have it in her but they needed a killer for the story. But it is believable that she hasn’t confessed because her youngest kids would have to go into care after she’d get a custodial sentence.

Thinking back to December '23 and the six were in the Vic, was it Kathy who wanted to call the police? Suki stopped her, saying that the police would not believe them, why not? As previously mentioned, Sharon had the severe bruising around her neck as evidence. However, it's soapland, so the storyline was milked for all it was worth. Some of the six have had so much stress since, especially Denise and Linda, while Suki, who stopped the phone call to the police just struts around the Square with her handbag over her arm, I know she's a cool character, but it looks as if she doesn't have a care in the world.

Well , Suki did have the worry about Nish , she soo could've killed him, I don;t think anyone in that room would've stopped her or grassed her up .

I so wish that Suki had killed her whispering ex.

Yes I don't find Nish very watchable now and ff his scenes, shame really because I think he's a good actor.
I can't remember Jumper's son's names - Harry and Barney? Looking forward to finding out what they've been up to.

The Six was one of the only times I could see why they did not go to the police - a bit messy with two dead men on the floor! (They thought initially Nish was dead. If only!) If it was just Ken, yes they should have.

Dee and Linda have been in such a state because they actually did it. It was Dee who lamped Nish. The others just witnessed and covered it up so are a bit less affected I suppose.

I think it’s very unlikely they would go into care. SS would always try to leave kids with relatives if a parent is absent and Ollie and Annie have an abundance: grandparents, step aunts/uncles, older sibling and half siblings dotted around the square. I don’t think they would be considered to be in any danger living in the Vic (probably safer without Linda and the sippy cup).

I do think it was ridiculous that Linda was the killer. In fact killing Keanu was ludicrous full stop. There were 5 women standing around him - they could have hit him over the head with something or kneed him in the groin.

Linda neglects her children anyway !
She would have been done for manslaughter I suppose , but the little ones would have stayed with Elaine and the others and probably been better off. Annie might have been encouraged to clean her teeth more ! lol

Annie is such a sweetie!
Really don't like the way Linda has neglected her and Ollie.
Lauren was keen to know Annie at first but haven't seen them together since.

If Phil does leave are they setting up Jumpers to step into his place?
Phil will leave a big hole!

I'd miss Phil too , but maybe they have run out of ideas for him and it would be nice for him to live in the sun with Grant or Louise and see out his days with family.
Not read if his off or not , but his been in it for many years now.

I think they’ve definitely run out of ideas for Phil. There are only so many gangster/shooting/robbery storylines you can create for one character. He’s been married umpteenth times, 4 kids with 4 women..not much else for him to do really!

Leticia Dean was absent for years at a time while Sharon was ‘living in Florida’ and she came back every now and then. Perhaps they will do the same with him. What will Ritchie do when he leaves though, he must be responsible for at least 80% of her income.

I think Phil will probably lose his businesses (and Sharon) but eventually Teddy will be found out to be a slimeball and Phil will triumph.

I think Steve McF did have a few breaks in the past didn't he? Maybe when Phil had the liver transplant? He's certainly had regular panto breaks and he's in panto again this year.

I've seen Phil in panto, he was brillaint. Will miss him on the square if he leaves for good

I'm sure that Ritchie will be fine! She has many fingers in lots of pies I bet ( or just retire gracefully )

@Shellingbynight Yes, it would have been messy had the police arrived and 2 bodies lying on the pub floor !

Did Linda commit murder? Personally I don't even see it as manslaughter, as she was in the moment, trying to stop Keanu from strangling Sharon, it certainly wasn't pre meditated. The worst she is guilty of, along with the rest of the Six, is lying to the police/covering up/perverting the course of justice.

I agree, I thought the last few minutes were genuinely disturbing. I hope Bobby doesn’t die!
