I thought Michael Moon was a great character - very intense.

I loved This Life but I don't remember SJS in it, what was his character?

SJS played the clerk at the chambers where they all worked at and he shagged Anna.

Reiss definitely did say it was a ruby, it was when he was on the phone in the cafe to some jewellers (I assume) - (he said "diamonds either side of an oval-cut ruby") - I took it that he was lying, as he's obviously a bit of a conman.
The bird-watching story was ridiculous. It was just an excuse to shoe-horn in some dodgy double entendres, and was clearly meant to be a comedy bit, but it just didn't land. I'm not sure they know what to do with Freddie, the writing for him is terrible. And Anna is very wooden.

When Mo is the best thing about a scene, you know you're in trouble!
I think you are right, they really don't know what to do with Freddie. He is a completely pointless character just drifting into other people's storylines. Anna needs other stronger characters to 'raise her level', when she's with Freddie it shows how weak they both are.

I suppose Reiss was trying to con the phone buyer, he has told so many lies about that ring! I'm sure on ebay it was listed as garnet and the highest bid was about £200, which is why he shut down the sale.

Bobby is going out of it, so I assume that Anna will fall for Freddie and Bobby will go off somewhere to lick his wounds.

I hope if Sonia disappears due to going to prison, Reiss isn't left behind on the square still?!? He's the one that bloody well needs to go ffs 🙄

Both Sonia and Reiss get arrested this week. I expect he’ll frame her soon after his arrest, she’ll be on remand for a few months, then be out by Christmas after a successful ‘SOS’ campaign ends (or he confesses).

Yay, I am definitely here for Sonia and Reiss in jail! Reiss so far has always wanted to protect her, but he probably wants to save his own skin even more.

@the80sweregreat The scenes with Jane must have been preparing for Bobby's exit, he will go and stay with her. He will have a much nicer life!

But they cannot arrest Sonia. There’s no- one else on the Square to give medical advice ( like the rash the little boy fostered by Zac and Whitney had) or when she saved Ben with a sharp lemon knife and a Bic pen.Helping Alfie through his recent medical issues and Lola

The Panesaars Family Doctors would have to close down - is there an actual doctor there?

How would we know, we never even see inside the surgery now do we! It's always Sonia moping around outside the entrance. Interesting choice of uniform, I haven't seen a practice nurse wearing a dress like that in years.

They are all going to have to ensure they don't get ill while Sonia's in jail!

Bit of a filler episode today.
Has Bernie realised she's been played by Dean? I mean it's pretty obvious she has but she's not very sharp and allowed herself into this situation

Life insurance premiums for residents on the square will go through the roof once Sonia’s in prison. No-one else is capable of detecting illnesses the way she can.

I haven’t seen the inside of the surgery since the woman Ravi was having an affair with (Ranvir’s wife?) left or was arrested - can’t remember what happened to her.

Oh yes! Bobby will live in the cute cottage with Jane.

Horrible episode, with too many characters I would be happy never to see again - Dean and Bernie, Cindy and Junior, Anna and Freddie, Leanne yapping, Nish snarling. Eurgh, someone arrest Sonia please!

The Dean and Bernie scenes didn’t make sense. She seemed to know he was using her, then she did an about face. Maybe she's really that stupid.

She was very glamorous wasn’t she? And did her Home Visits in very expensive looking trouser suits and heels. She left abruptly in her Range Rover never to be seen again.
Ash left _ she was doing her GP training .
Then we briefly had the Dr out to visit Lola - never saw her before or since !

So yes the health of the entire Square is down to SuperSonia

Yes Dr Heels was very glamorous! She was defrauding someone wasn't she? She and Ravi were in league together or something.

Sonia is also worried about her eight-week viability scan, and at the hospital, she confronts Reiss, telling him it's madness to make a deal with someone they barely know.

Well you're having a baby with someone you barely know!!

Sonia is so unlikeable, she manipulated the whole situation to get the ring back and when it came to returning the money she just walked away. I couldn't get behind any sos for her, she is culpable and deserves what she gets.
To be honest lots of them are annoying me recently, maybe I should stop watching for a bit as it's not enjoyable.

Eve just accepting that she'll only get her £2k back "when the life insurance pays" with a shrug of the shoulders was ridiculous. She works on a bap stand...how much money does she have to burn. And how is she going to buy a replacement ring for Suki when she told Reiss the £2k was the entirety of her savings? Sonia smugly walking off with the ring was awful. I had hoped it was the police arriving at the end rather than Reiss' inlaws.

All of the storylines are quite tedious at the moment with silly plot holes. When Linda was melting down in the solicitor's office as all the text messages were flooding in, why didn't Johnny just grab and turn of the phone? And bringing in the sippy cup to the interview. He is as about as realistic a solicitor as Jack is a policeman.

Saw on Facebook today that there might be a Chelsea / Teddy hook up ?
He might lend her his jumper

Rather see Chelsea and Jumpers together than Chelsea and his irritating son ?Barney who is like a dog on heat and thinks he’s irresistible to The Laydeez .

If he has a nice pink and grey Argyle lambswool or cashmere then Chelsea could swipe that to wear with white jeans

I like Teddy , his strangely attractive

He’s got a quirky smile and when he talks to someone - man or woman- he leans towards them. Whereas Phil seems to rock back on his heels arching away. And Junior tips his head back and looks down .

Has he given up on Sharon?
He could take her on a trip to Bluewater as he lives somewhere along that way . Burn those horrible shiny leggings that she seams glued to. ( like Stacey and her horrible shiny leggings)
Sharon was wearing jeans in one episode looks so good .

I'm so bored with this Cindy and Junior affair story and thought the ending in today's episode was one of the laziest and unexciting 'duff duffs' in EE history.

I haven't read anything official about Teddy Jumpers and Chelsea, but he does buy Gray's old house next week.
