Jodie was engaged to Darren Miller. she had money from her Dad and wanted Darren to buy this and rent that flat and her Dad wouldn’t be pleased if his little princess wasn’t treated properly.
Not a Gold Digger , she had access to cash but very spoiled and bratty.

Darren was quite sweet , he looked out for Demi his sister

I remember Darren's existence, I just looked at his bio and I remember none of his storylines except for him being the (unlikely) father of Hev's baby.

Yes Baby George conceived in the club toilets, classy !

At least BabyGeorge wasn’t born in a pub toilet with Philth Mitchell as midwife unlike GBP. ( giant baby pearl)

I would like to see a return of the Brothers with an Italian heritage, they used to run the only restaurant that exists in the square.

Beppe and Gianni, they didn’t get killed off so they could return unlike Steve (Martin Kemp) which I think as a youngster watching Eastenders 😬 found to be the most interesting storylines.

Mankychester is beyond The Watford Gap so for us lot what live in the sarf east it might as well be Massachusetts

That’s true and Eastenders they can’t even seem to venture beyond the square for employment so even when they are desperate for work and London central is on their doorstep they can’t find anything! 😂

And as for the thought of actually looking beyond the Square for your next love interest……..
I was watching Sharon, Denice and Jack thinking “both women have had a child with Phil , Denice is married to Jack , Sharon was engaged to Jack.

Mel dared to go off piste and found Nathan …who turned up to be Roy Evan’s son
came back married to Ray who was Ciaras brother , Caira was Aidan’s ex wh was in prison with Phil. Mel was married to Ian then Steve and had a fling with Phil
All roads lead to Phil

That's why it's all "a bit incestuous " they never go anywhere else even the gay men pair up!

Poor Bernie has no chance of getting a girlfriend.

I’d love Steve Owen to come back. Is he dead or ‘dead dead’? I seem to remember a car crash and he was blown up. They cast his son really well because he did look like a young Martin Kemp.

Wow! That is impressive mastermind level of knowledge, I will need to look up lots of them which then reminds me strangely how quickly the years go and how long I’ve been watching Eastenders! 😂

Yes; that was the ending, they did actually leave the square if I remember rightly! I’m not sure if that means he could never come back but probably! I prefer it when they have the good looking baddies. They brought that awful boxer man that wanted to get Sharon out to Dubai but he isn’t smooth enough. I like David for that reason and I liked Tommy’s Dad as they aren’t physically massive but are psychologically dangerous, I think that is better drama!

I think that Kim has left Pearl and Mika on the cruise liner ! ( I know she hasn't , but we haven't seen them for ages)

Oooh I quite liked the look of Sharon’s Dubai fancy man. The only problem was his name…Dorian..I can’t quite accept that’s a man’s name😂

Steve Owen was very suave and similar to David Wicks in his hey day. I will give Cindy credit - with the obvious exception of Ian she has managed to ensnare some very good looking men. I found Tommy’s dad creepy and not attractive at all but he was an excellent villain.

I liked the guy went on a date with I'm sure they met online dating he was handsome.

I just looked up the name of Tommy’s Dad so Michael Moon, John Shepherd the actor I think was better looking in This Life about the Lawyers in London in a shared house. Martin Kemp was a good actor I think which is quite impressive as he was a musician.
