Yeah - I think that Cindy/Junior is boring and dull

The Cindy / Junior thing sprung to mind when I saw a pic of Madonna ( 66 on Friday ) online with her boyfriend ( 28!)
( I know Cindy / Junior have a smaller age gap.)

They keep on doing this though - having women in their fifties throwing themselves at young men. Madonna aside, women just don't do this, do they? I guess it's not as bad as Sharon and Canoe but it's highly improbable.

I’m only a couple of years younger than Madonna and all I could think of when I read this was how exhausting that must be! And what the hell do you have in common. He would be younger than my sons eeeek

I agree it is very odd they way they love the older woman/ young guy scenarios on EE.

I also agree Barney is dreadful. I hope Chelsea finds someone decent (not likely with what’s on offer!)

Sonia and Reiss grabbing back that ring without repaying Eve - eurgh! Such a horrible pair, I can’t wait till they are arrested. I wonder if Brenda is going to reveal that the ring was not Reiss’s grandma’s. Reiss seems to lie every time he opens his mouth. I did love Suki’s reaction to the fact the ring was on Debbie’s hand when she died - something that does not bother Sonia at all!

Johnny has an unfortunate (lack of) range of expressions, he seems to have his mouth open like a stranded goldfish most of the time. Poor Linda. She does need urgent rehabbing. Bernie is evil.

Madonna looked like she was out with her son !
Tbf , she has the time to keep fit , money for ' work ' and all the rest of it , but I agree the idea of a younger lover is an exhausting thought ! Lol
( Plus he won't even have been born when she was actually good and made some decent music) mind boggles

Junior isn’t young, though. I think George says he fathered him when he was in his late teens or early 20’s.

Wiki says Junior is 37 or 38 - that's young! Cindy is 56 but Michelle C is 62 so the age difference looks really obvious (although Madonna wins the age gap by a long way!)

37 or 38 is middle aged!

I always see 40 plus as ' middle aged ' ( god knows what I am now though , lol)

37 is not middle aged ! Over 40 is middle aged .

So I’m just watching Mondays episode. It starts with Bernie visiting Dean in jail. The next scene is Linda doing a milkshake talking to Johnny. The clock behind them on the kitchen wall says ten past 9. I really wish they’d sort out this sort of continuity thing. Don’t they have a kind of daily diary that everyone’s movements get plotted into to avoid this sort of thing? Or are we supposed to believe 9am Monday morning is visiting time?

It's weird how it's been written for Sonia and Bernie. I never minded them before but I can't stand either of them now. Sonia has no shame and Bernie needs to go to Spain, there's nothing for her in the square anymore, she's not made a life for herself. It's all in the portrayal, neither of them are kind/relatable anymore.

I'd read somewhere that Juniors real age (the actors) is 47 or something so not as much of an age gap but I know the character is younger

I've just watched todays and I'm stumped

Who are we supposed to be rooting for? Who are we supposed to like?

They have made everyone so unlikeable!

-Linda is a self absorbed wet blanket

-Jonny is constantly whiney at her

-Bernie has become some twisted psycho

-Gina is a meddling stubborn know it all

-Reiss and Sonia are just vile. No sympathy for Sonia (if we're supposed to have any?)

-Junior and Cindy...don't get me started!

-Lauren 'whit whit whit' screeching woman pulling faces and occasionally remembering she has a child

-Even Eve last week skulking off after stupidly proposing was annoying

-Bobby/Anna/Freddie are as bad as one another and I really don't care about them

I give up. I was sort of interested in stripping down Phil and thought they might build him back up again and Teddy is interesting but they seem to have forgotten about them.

I'm watching episodes now and finishing them very frustrated!

It's madness to have so many unlikeable characters/storylines

These threads are interesting as I can feel the frustration and how Sonia gets that ring back is intriguing me now !
Johnny and Linda are annoying the Facebook pages too , it all sounds disjointed and Linda needs rehab.
Bernie being a pyscho is also odd,

@milesmachine yes everyone is behaving pretty unlikeably, although Reiss and Sonia certainly have a head start on the rest of them!

For middle aged I'd say 45 plus. (If 37 is middle aged what does that make Cindy!?)

At this rate I want Sonia to go down with Reiss, she is being so stupid and even though she isn’t aware of the murder, the stuff she is aware of and is enabling is bad enough!

Sonia must be really stupid for it not to have crossed her mind that Reiss had done for Debbie. It's one of those unbidden thoughts that can pop up. Anyway, Reiss is a proven liar in dire need of cash so it's not a big leap of imagination.

Sonia is pretty thick for a nurse !

It is verging on incredible that every time a new lie pops up Sonia just rolls her eyes and marches on. But she's as bad as him, with her eye on the life insurance.

I was rolling my eyes more than Sonia watching the last few episodes! Sonia is so gullible it's ridiculous she shouldn't be allowed to make her own decisions 🙄.

Shouty angry johnny just needs to chill although he did mention his job tbf so obviously the writers have eventually noticed he's not at work and.the viewers noticed first.

Cindy and Jr is just yuck !
