Joel's the baddie, and Lauren is still missing
Roy's a free man, and Carla and Swain are close to kissing
Will Bethany quit moaning, she does it all the time!
Sarah is still hot, but needs to slow down on the wine

Leanne's missing too, has that cult bloke kidnapped her then?
And where are the quads, does anyone ever see them?
Paul's still alive, hanging on and on in there
Cop Kit's a bit tasty but a bit annoying and hard to bear

Not much with the Platts or the Barlows or The Rovers
Carla's pub money being stolen by Jenny and Daisy has been glossed over
Adam still has his wacky hair that's a bit greasy
Daniel's still boring, yet the cutest girls to him come easy

The school bully storyline has eased off a bit
So Maria can chill - and Sarah can get off with Kit
I hope it's OK for me to start this new thread my friends

Carla wears some gorgeous clothes. Did anyone recognise the shirt she had on when she was talking to Bobby tonight? Love to find it.

My dh told me a really complicated story about his work in the midst of the proposal. So I dont know why Dede said no then yes.

I agree that the institute is a head fuck though. I don't remember Leanne talking to Oliver that often before, if at all.

Yes it looks that way but it has for a few weeks. Leanne is now cold and uptight the entire time and isn't behaving like a wife to Nick at all.

Are Leanne and Nick married? I thought he proposed but it hadn't happened yet?

I only watched a few minutes of the show last night, enough to see DeeDee behaving like an idiot and agreeing to marry Joel. DeeDee, who is supposed to be a hotshot lawyer with good judgment yet goes to her gambler father with shite judgment to ask what she should do.

I’m sure Leanne is talking to Oliver, although why on a laptop? Have the Institute manipulated her into thinking he can hear her in the afterlife?

At least we saw Debbie, the show needs more Debbie.

Gail hasn’t had a decent storyline in years so I hope they change that and do her proud, but with the current state of the show I can’t see it happening.

Re the internet chap wanting £5,000 a month to keep the video off the internet. Does this mean that Dev is forking out that much to keep Asha's video hidden? Or have they decided to just roll with it now? 🤔

Shellingbynight. I think you're right they aren't married but live in partners so makes little difference. Nick is a bit of a wet blanket. Has he ever been a baddie? I can't recall it.

Re the £5k, surely no one could afford to pay that? Especially not Kev given he said the garage is struggling. Not Dev either.

Max really needs to study cyber security and stuff and solve all it issues. Football is coming soon so schedule will be messed up.

Not sure why Sarah was so excited about free legal advice from Joel. She has an estranged solicitor husband who would be more than happy to help her.

I'm pretty sure Sue Devaney - who plays Debbie - wasn't in Rita Sue and Bob too. I think you may be thinking of Michelle Holmes. She was in Corrie some years ago, and also in Rita, Sue, and Bob too.

Michelle is The blonde lass here. (First pic 1987, second one 2019.) All the actors have done quite well since.

Michelle played Tina Fowler in Corrie from 1989 to 1992.

But yeah for sure, Rita, Sue, and Bob too would never be made now. Funny thing is, this did go on when I was a teen (in the 1980s.) Quite a few men (some married) who I knew were having affairs/flings with 15 to 18 year old girls. Some of the men were as old as 45-50. 😖

Probably still goes on now TBH. Even when my DD (now mid 20s) were at secondary school (late noughties/early 2010s,) around 4 or 5 girls they knew had affairs with men 25-35 years older. GRIM!

I saw it to. I think the link to Corrie is that the quads, Harry, Bertie and all the other invisible children, are busy playing whatever game it was on that link. That's why we don't see them.
