Joel's the baddie, and Lauren is still missing
Roy's a free man, and Carla and Swain are close to kissing
Will Bethany quit moaning, she does it all the time!
Sarah is still hot, but needs to slow down on the wine

Leanne's missing too, has that cult bloke kidnapped her then?
And where are the quads, does anyone ever see them?
Paul's still alive, hanging on and on in there
Cop Kit's a bit tasty but a bit annoying and hard to bear

Not much with the Platts or the Barlows or The Rovers
Carla's pub money being stolen by Jenny and Daisy has been glossed over
Adam still has his wacky hair that's a bit greasy
Daniel's still boring, yet the cutest girls to him come easy

The school bully storyline has eased off a bit
So Maria can chill - and Sarah can get off with Kit
I hope it's OK for me to start this new thread my friends
I wonder where we'll be at when this thread ends?

I realised tonight that Dev's support of Bernie has been impressive- he listens to what she says, and manages to stand up for her without infantilising her. Well done !

I like Dev and Bernie even though they're sort of the odd couple but Leanne in that mask being brought into "the circle" omg it was cringe worthy. Was that meeting in Debbie's hotel? If so then surely that chantng and shouting would have been heard by other guests. Or have I got that wrong.

Dev has remembered his other kids. He must have been reading his Wikipedia entry.

As if Paul and Gemma would turn against Bernie in favour of some bloke they barely know! Ridiculous.

@lollipoprainbow Gemma is a sandwich short of a picnic. She will be easily manipulated by the likes of Kit. Paul is vulnerable and taking his anger and frustration out on one of the people closest to him. .
I agree with @Hgak Amy has some similar personality traits to her Great Grandma Blanche.
I am disappointed in Sarah. I didn’t think she would come clean about the 10k. Gary clearly has unresolved feelings for her. He needs to stop coming to her rescue or his marriage will be over. Maria won’t put up with it. She’s already highly suspicious.
I thought Gary was better than this. He is punching with Maria. Sarah doesn’t want him despite her trying to kiss him previously. She was drunk and desperate for male attention that day (as always.)

I had completely forgotten Dev has other (adult) children. Who on earth and where on earth are they though?

I've just had a look at Dev's page. So he also fathered kids with women who worked in his other shops! Dirty Dev indeed 🙄

When Leanne was blindfolded and the cult members were shouting her previous crimes at her, one mentioned her taking advantage of someone with dementia. Anyone remember that?

I’ve watched all of Monday’s episode now, Bernie did herself no favours (as usual) - telling Kit to shut up and throwing the remote at him. I thought Paul and Gemma’s parts were well written, I could see why they were so upset (especially Paul). Kit is very harsh to Bernie, but has his reasons. I agree he had a lucky escape by being adopted.

I thought it was a well written episode, and even Cassie was watchable (which is saying something!)

But why is Cassie still hanging around, presumably being paid, when Lord Kenneth is ambling around happily, not using a walker or even a stick now. Fully recovered!

On the basis of that episode it didn't seem as if Amy is ‘on to’ the Institute, you’d think she’d have more sense but she seemed genuinely interested.

Yes I think the cult were at Debbie’s hotel. They must have a highly insulated function suite! Debbie must be raking it in.

Why is Gemma, too skint to buy shoes for my kids, always in the Rovers? The whole street buys their lunch or breakfast at Roy’s, goes to the Rovers daily and goes to the bistro at least once a week (but rarely to Speed Dall!). No wonder they are broke.

Wish I had recovered from my fractured Knee cap (at a younger age than Ken !) ..as quick as Ken has from his fractured pelvis !

In RL there’s absolutely no way Dev would be in a relationship with Bernie. But soaps are in a world of their own which makes them enjoyable.

The only 'feasible' relationships Dev has ever had (that I can think of) were Geena and Sunita. Everyone else was either certifiable or just an odd choice. They haven't seemed to know what to do with him relationship-wise since Sunita died.
