Roy's a free man, and Carla and Swain are close to kissing
Will Bethany quit moaning, she does it all the time!
Sarah is still hot, but needs to slow down on the wine

Leanne's missing too, has that cult bloke kidnapped her then?
And where are the quads, does anyone ever see them?
Paul's still alive, hanging on and on in there
Cop Kit's a bit tasty but a bit annoying and hard to bear

Not much with the Platts or the Barlows or The Rovers
Carla's pub money being stolen by Jenny and Daisy has been glossed over
Adam still has his wacky hair that's a bit greasy
Daniel's still boring, yet the cutest girls to him come easy

The school bully storyline has eased off a bit
So Maria can chill - and Sarah can get off with Kit
I hope it's OK for me to start this new thread my friends

For goodness sake - show the family respecting Ken's wishes re his rehabilitation.

In reality he would have been advised what he can and cannot do. As an 'older' person - maybe a few years younger than Ken I hasten to add - I would choose my own carer (if I decided I needed one) and not want a family meeting on how to take 'care' of me to which I was not invited.

Hee seems to be moving OK so provided he has physio and uses aids - no way does he NEED a 'carer'.

For perhaps the first time watching this drivel - I found myself shouting at the TV. He does not have dementia, he is not bed-bound and he does not need an untrained carer.

It is a very unrealistic portrayal of 'old people' that I find unwarranted.

Where does he wash and go to the loo though

I don't live in nhs land...but would a 90 year old be allowed home without a check by occupational therapy people that facilities were available?

The character is supposed to have been born 1939 - which makes him 85 - the actor is 91!

Unlikely Ken would be allowed home without OT checking the house for trip hazards and providing grab rails and IME they certainly wouldn't do that in 48 hours. The whole storyline is daft, they allegedly provided a commode, but Ken can't get upstairs so is he not having a wash for a month? He also doesn't need someone babysitting him 24/7.

As for Nick and Toyah snogging on a balcony. As if. As another poster said, what is the endgame for Rowan because he just looks like a cackling evil monster with a grudge, when surely all he wants is money? And Leanne hasn't really got any. So, why?

The only storyline being done well is Paul, but we now have to suffer Summer and Tallboy2. It seems until Todd inevitably gets back with Billy Prayerhands he won't be getting a storyline of his own.

So Ken broke his hip but five minutes later he's back in his house. All that is bad enough and I agree with all previous comments but what made me really mad was when he walked carefully into his living room but then just plonk himself down into his armchair (with no height cushion). No easing himself slowly down with the pain he WOULD have felt.

The writers and researchers should be ashamed. 🫤

The storyline was allegedly supposed to be about the difficulties family have providing care, but as we've said he doesn't need full time care. I suspect Cassie has been bounced in is due to the supposed 'chemistry' between her and Steve, there must be a reason they started sharing scenes.

Yes sorry his pelvis not hip but at his (character) age it's still serious and the healing time is lengthy. Bones much more fragile in old age. Either way Ken leaning on a walker just isn't enough. Cassie as his carer 🙄 oh my first thought was she'll try to get more money than just her wages out of him.

The photograph of Toyah and Nick really wasn't that incriminating. It could easily be explained away as a comforting hug and chaste kiss after the babies funeral.

Tracey would definitely be back as soon as she discovered Ken had an accident. She only went to Spain not the depths of the Amazon jungle!
