Yes Bernie seems very chipper doesn't she, and not at all bothered about working four feet away from where her brother's body was found. I think there was mention of a funeral happening (can't remember?)

I must have missed it when they mentioned the funeral. Oh dear, what kind of state is Keanu’s body in at this stage. I know he’s been in a morgue for the past few weeks but prior to that he was decomposing under the cafe…

Will Karen return for the funeral and if not how will they explain her abscence?! I’m guessing Bernie will have an off screen call with her and then announce “it’s all too much for poor mum, she can’t face the burial” etc. Keegan probably won’t be mentioned at all. It’s amazing how siblings and other close relatives who have left the square are completely forgotten when there’s a funeral or wedding.

That always bugs me @Eastie77Returns - wish they could find some way to incorporate those who have left into those major life storylines! (Or the original actors agree to a very small cameo!)

I'm sure but not positive that Karen comes back for the funeral. I read when it was on Digital spy spoilers I don't think they have mentioned it yet.

It always happens doesn't it, relatives who would be at the funeral have a feeble excuse for not attending (although if Karen isn't there I am not going to complain!)

I thought Nish suspected Suki had done something, but that seemed to go off the boil, or maybe I have remembered wrongly.

Someone gets the wake for Ken organized in the Vic according to my tv guide ( can't remember who they said ) and Linda goes off the rails a bit! As you would!

I also hope Karen doesn’t return. Although Phil’s £50k must surely be running low by now unless Mitch has found a well paying job (unlikely) and Karen loves to splash the cash. They will have had to find accommodation for 2 adults + 3 kids and Spain is not cheap. Very unrealistic that they were even able to just take those children out of the country, esp Bailey who is not their child!

Bailey is Mitch's biological daughter though.

No. Bailey is Mitch's daughter from his ex that was ill and died. I can't remember the mother's name, but she was already in a wheelchair by the time we saw her.

Baileys mum was called Dinah or maybe Danah ?

Watching Sonya and Reece(/Riess or however you spell it) why is she "we cant afford this" we need £2k more?
Firstly - they have a house that can be remortaged as she inherited it
Secondly - Whit managed to get £2k just like that for Brit

Isn't her house worth at least a million? Wasn't that what the whole Dotty and Rocky hoha was about?

I suppose a mortgage could be possible although I doubt Sonia earns much and Reiss is on his uppers, but no one ever finds money like that in EE - they steal or borrow (normally from Phil 😄). I find it a grim storyline, I hope she kicks him out when she finds out where the money has come from.

Whit's £2k was from her and Zack's savings for the baby - I remember him being shocked Whit had spent it.

Reiss originally told Sonia the money was an old savings account he had forgotten about.
I do believe that Bianca finds out the truth this week ( not sure how )

Yes I read that about Bianca too. Reiss is such an odd character, he is played 90% for comedy but then he steals money from his comatose wife.

Maybe he should have fessed up to Sonia that he was using Debbie's cash ? Although I guess she wouldn't have liked that, at least she could have tried other means to fund it herself ?

I think Sonia would have justified stealing Deb's money if Reiss had said I mean she took sponsor money for cosmetics surgery a few years back I'm thinking a tummy tuck in Turkey?

@Mrsjayy I had forgotten that! And that reminded me she also stole money from Dot even more recently (in 2020 according to the link)

I remember random nonsense! I did forget she stole from Dot, I don't think she would have any qualms taking 2k from a comatosed woman they would explain it away as she would want Reiss to be happy.
