This will be my 12th Doctor. I’m a big Doctor Who fan. Happy memories of Sat with my dad watching cyber men and darleks.
But what the hell has happened? I’ve just finished, well I managed 25 mins, before I couldn’t take it anymore the 1st episode with the new Doctor and sidekick. Awful acting with a ludicrous plot (yes I know it’s fantasy) but it’s never been this stupid. Can’t help but think the BBC aren’t bothered and think they can put out anything and we’ll watch. Russell T Davies should have his pens taken off him and spare us anymore pain.

I can’t be the only Doctor Who fan who thinks like this. Absolutely Gutted 😞

Same. Its been Disneyfied and dumbed down for the international audience. Ha. Remember the cleverness and wit of the Tennant era? I'm out.

Watching now. It's absolutely shite so far.

And the music is exhausting.

For Gods sake bring back the Daley’s, cybermen etc and a decent Dr, this is awful

I enjoyed the first one, didn't like the second.

Really bugged me Ruby going "You never run!" when he did the episode before and "You always think of something!" How does she know - she has known him five minutes!

I can see why Millie wasn't kept on for the next series. It felt very RTD, but in that he'd not watched any if the episodes after he left last time.

I liked Millie. I thought they went well together.

Any one else notice the billboard on the roof “Chris waites”. Is that relevant to the one that waits?

Nope. Not for me. Very disappointing.

I also loved it well I've not seen the second episode yet, but Doctor who is supposed to be a bit mad.

I was trying to work out who Susan would end up being.
Forgot about mrs flood.

I thought the Dr left Susan on a different planet or version of earth in the future

The second episode was great. Until that ending. WTF?!

I very much enjoyed that the first episode firmly established the Doctor’s morality for new viewers.
The second episode was overacted in a way that was just painful. My family enjoyed it though and since I am trying to breed new Whovians I really can’t complain too much.

my husband and I are debating if there were flashes of a certain character in the video resignations and in the tea scene. We both thought it might be a certain actress but we’re not 100% sure.

I was wondering that. Watching bbc3 behind the scenes to find out.

They brought him back now he's living in harmony probably round Donna's house every.day annoying her husband 😀

Haha good point. Time to stop drinking tea and entertain us, Tennant!
