No, they are clearly intended to be mid-late 20s. Smithy’s relationship is played for laughs but is clearly totally inappropriate. He complains that she’s dumped him for a 21 year old.

This has made me view Smithy in a whole different light….. 😬

Gavin and Smithy are definitely 28 at the start of the series and Stacey is 26. nessa is 17/18 years older as per last special so would have been 43/44?

I am re watching from the start and Mick asks Nessa if she can drive and she says no. Odd as she's an HGV driver in later episodes 😂

I think Smithy says his age when he is suit shopping with his mam and Rudy.

He actually says ‘do you drive?’ and she says no so that could mean she can drub but doesn’t have a car at the moment (as she doesn’t have her own car the whole series).

She says 'no, which is a shame as I like a good ride' 😂
