Pretty much everyone is hate watching. Presumably a handful of people aren’t but the rest of us are watching through our fingers.

I highly recommend the Every Outfit podcast for enjoyable snark anchored in real appreciation for the existence of the show.

I thought they were all a lot less intelligent in AjLT. The way they reduced Mirands from a top lawyer to following Che around like a love sick tech challenged puppy was criminal. And Charlotte? Complete Stepford wife and tiger mum.

Towards the end of S 2 there was some redemption as Miranda and Charlotte got proper jobs.

I want the controlling arse that is Aiden to fuck off, for Kirsten to be able to act again, for Miranda to stop being a pious PITA, for waaaaaay more Anthony and waaaaay less Liselle (or whatever her name is).

I don’t think she was ruined for turning gay - after all becoming a late life lesbian is a common occurrence these days - including Cynthia Nixon herself. I think she was ruined by being so cruel to Steve and for suddenly becoming a lap dog girl friend. Miranda was always attractive because of her assertiveness in life and her career. And she was kind - to Steve’s mum, Steve and Brady. The remarkable turn around in her character just didn’t ring true to me.
