@Bluetrews25 🤣🤣🤣

Bluetrews25 · 16/04/2024 20:29

Are there no barbers up in Gold Coast?
It looks gorgeous up there, though.

Have you honestly not been watching? Lots of commentary about it on this thread.

I’ve been watching it all …
I just see a bloke who’s old, and really keen on her
was a bit of a dick and Andie won’t let it go?
so I genuinely concerned why I’m not seing what other people are seing

FergoMcFergFace · 16/04/2024 20:30

I feel for Lucinda. I don't think the ixperts have had enough regard for what she wants and needs out of this "experiment". She's basically become Tim's support human and the ixperts have encouraged it. And now she's discovering that Tim is capable of giving more, he just doesn't want to give it to her.

Bluetrews25 · 16/04/2024 20:31

Fucking huge moths around there, clearly!

I've had a problem from the beginning with the way Lucinda and Cassie were pushed to be their partners' support. Their needs weren't considered in the slightest.

noonesayscheese · 16/04/2024 20:33

@Itsrainingoverhere

He was only really interested when she was having sex with him. When she put the brakes on that, and for good reason, he basically whinged a lot into his scarf and denied not knowing why she went off him (despite her clearly communicating it), he put it all on her and acted the victim. He kept saying stuff that crossed her clearly communicated boundaries. Absolute bellend.

I know. It’s ridiculous!

We see a bloke who doesn’t listen. Who is too busy focussing on his own feelings and makes himself the victim at every turn.

We see a bloke who TELLS Andie how she’s feeling and why she’s feeling it, instead of actually listening to and taking onboard what’s she’s telling him.

We see a bloke who is fixated on sex and intimacy and lacks the emotional intelligence to understand his partners needs.

We see a bloke who whenever his partner brings up how she’s feeling about his behaviour, shuts down what she’s saying to instead talk about himself and make himself the victim.

Thats what we all see.

This. This is Richie:

Explaining DARVO: Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim & Offender

When an abuser turns the tables and blames the victim for the abuse, it can be a manipulative tactic known as DARVO.

Good job some of us have standards when it comes to men eh.

MissUnicorn · 16/04/2024 20:43

Hard for him? He's basically said he doesn't want you there. That's horrible to hear.

MagpiePi · 16/04/2024 20:44

I’m glad Lucinda recognises that Tim isn’t going to suddenly become a super emotional person just because he opened up a bit.

browneyes77 · 16/04/2024 20:44

I think this is the breaking point for Lucinda.

Oh for christs sake

What about Lucinda's needs? She must feel
Awkward as hell

Can't he plan something fun for them to do? I thought he ran a brewery?

FergoMcFergFace · 16/04/2024 20:45

You're better off with the dogs, Lu.

Rummikub · 16/04/2024 20:45

Poor Lucinda :(

Villagetoraiseachild · 16/04/2024 20:46

Stick here on this site, you'll get lots of support. Maybe start your own thread when you are ready.
Not a surprise that you've said this. Sorry you are in this situation. xx

Their relationship peaked when he pecked her on the lips

That was the best it got

Aw bless you. Sometimes you can’t see these things until someone makes you see it. Thats often how DARVO works. Makes you feel like you’re the one being unreasonable, when you’re not!

Read through that link I posted. It will give some good insight xxx

@Itsrainingoverhere have you been conditioned to think that your relationship is the norm?
