Sara is such a liar about owning the situation, and now it was only an emotional betrayal?, Yeah right. I am hoping that Tim is fully aware of the fact that she is putting on an act to stay on the show and he is just enjoying all the attention for a while before binning her off.

He did seem to have a bit of self awareness before the cheating came out and was saying that he was never going to be good enough for her, but he didn't want to change himself to fit in with how she wanted him to be.

The ixperts couldn't have made it clearer to Tori that Jack is a totally shitty person and she is a fool for backing him up without saying 'Tori, Jack is a totally shitty person and you are a fool for backing him up'. Does he need to stamp on a bag of kittens in front of her before she reaches her limit on what she will put up with?

determinedtomakethiswork · 16/04/2024 08:00

I don't think Eden has been manipulative.

I think Jayden is a bully and controlling and wants to manage everybody else's affairs.

The thing to remember about him is what he did when his girlfriend was unfaithful.

I thought that was a sociopathic reaction.

Catlord · 16/04/2024 08:24

Jayden is being a sanctimonious little git.

Eden told him something in confidence, because she is his wife.

It was not really substantive information, just additional crap. Tim had already decided to give Sara another chance rather than picking over details. He's being quite measured about seeing how she makes it up to him so I don't think is totally convinced.

Jayden has decided to turn his fault finding onto Eden now when she was not controlling him away from sharing anything of value, she just did not want to be the centre of everyone's business for a change. Must be awful for her anxiety which he kindly keeps bringing up.

Later in life, I am getting the feeling Jayden will find himself quite a lonely older man and have no idea why.

readytobreakthexbox · 16/04/2024 10:22

Catlord, you nailed it! Jayden is more of a villain than even Jack in my eyes because at least Jack is just openly awful and is called out as such, but I really dislike Jayden's morality-police thing. The way he kept going on about how Eden wanted him to 'lie' - it's not LYING to just not add an additional pointless unsubstantiated detail to the group conversation. Tim already decided to forgive her, why is it 'lying' to just leave them alone and not bring up every little detail you think you hear about Sara? Finding he's enjoying his 'burn the witch' moment too much - Eden should RUN because he's already turning it to her too.

readytobreakthexbox · 16/04/2024 10:24

Also side note but I did giggle at his 'flowers 5 times per week' for Eden - where is she keeping all these flowers?!? 😂

Eden should RUN because he's already turning it to her too.

Looking at the little snippet at the end of last night's episode (leading to Home stays) she may have decided to do just that - unless she was just running late. I felt so sorry for her when he turned on her last night. Yes there may be fault on both sides but he's no saint at all - has he forgotten the confession he made about his ex-girlfriend and her friend? That's not the act of a mentally well balanced person. 🌹

BatshitCrazyWoman · 16/04/2024 10:57

Completely agree @Catlord . I can't abide Jayden, there was nothing at all that that little 'snippet' added to anything, and Eden didn't tell him to lie, she didn't want him shit stirring in other couple's relationships. Cross the experts allowed all that to happen.

I'm finding all the men in this series so spectacularly unattractive 😂 Not just physically, but the way they behave as well. I think Tom senior is my favourite 🙂

MaggieFS · 16/04/2024 11:25

Yep, I was very unhappy with Jayden last night and I was pleased Lucinda and Jonno (IIRC) told him to drop it. They obviously aren't communicating well. It's not his place to spill what she tells him in confidence just because he is on a crusade.

I was also annoyed Andrea didn't get to talk more. Perhaps it just wasn't shown? But she made very valid points about boundaries etc. in the previous episodes and she came across well, whereas he just looks like a sex pest crying crocodile tears when she stopped sleeping with him.

I'm still not sure where Lucinda and Timothy will end up. I don't think it's healthy in any relationship for one person to be the others therapist.

I think the ixperts had no choice but to lay on the line Jack's behaviour. They must have some sort of duty of care. The sex chat / pressure topic came up a few threads ago. I'm definitely not comfortable if anyone feels pressured, but the lack of sex is the most obvious indicator that he doesn't fancy her. I think they did well last night also to illustrate it by asking about the words used to describe each other. PERHAPS she's just saving up for an epic "you're a complete lobster man bun leprechaun kid clothed arse" in the final vows. Because she definitely wants to do things her way and would never admit that anyone else is right.

DaisyDaisyDaisyDaisyDaisyDaisy · 16/04/2024 11:33

@Circe32 hard disagree. The show is on about season 26 and at least 420 episodes in. This is a lovely fun and inclusive thread. Don't be silly.

Circe32 · 15/04/2024 23:15

YABCU completely posting a thread that means nothing without prior knowledge of any previous thread(s)
Exclusive and twatty

It’s not that complicated. If you watch the programme you should be able to follow the thread.

murasaki · 16/04/2024 12:21

Agree. I find the Korean show thread titles entertaining, have no idea what's going on, but don't watch the show so I don't go on there and tell them off. I'm sure that if I did watch the show I'd be welcomed in, as I was here when I finally succumbed two seasons ago!

DaftFlerken · 16/04/2024 13:06

Really dislike Tori, she comes across like someone who is really cutting off her nose to spite her face, sulky teenager vibes. Absolutely loves it when other couples don't do well

Abitboring · 16/04/2024 13:15

@FleurdeSel I thought they are trying to crack Tori and to get her to connect with her emotions rather than hold her accountable. Because if she did she'd probably not be ok with him as a partner.

Like the one time the ixperts told her jack was offering her up on a platter for partner swap week and she said she felt physically sick. She has ignored that completely. If a friend did something that made me physically sick I probably couldn't be friends with them anymore, let alone be in a relationship. She basically ignores or doesn't know her gut feeling.

Abitboring · 16/04/2024 13:18

@DaftFlerken yeah I went from liking her to disliking her more every episode. She's actually quite defensive, which could be misread as 'strong woman speak' because of the way she expresses herself. But it's really defensiveness.

I think if you were with Jayden in real life you would be walking on eggshells constantly

I thought this exactly! You wouldn't know what he was going to start with next.

Jayden can sort this judgemental streak out if he can get it into his head that your moral compass is only meant to guide yourself, maybe help when raising children. You simply can't go around ordering other people how to behave.

Dollenganger333 · 16/04/2024 16:01

Jayden is a pompous dickhead.

Totally agree - Jayden will be Rich in 40 years. I’m such a nice moral guy blah blah, I treat women so nicely blah blah, my relationships never work out because of the women and their ex issues. Both think the sun shines out their own arses and can’t see any of their own faults.

Loungwear · 16/04/2024 17:27

Have we ever actually seen Tori and Jack laugh together?

If I were with him irl I'd cut his hair while he slept.

murasaki · 16/04/2024 17:58

The Samson effect

AmiShitsaline · 16/04/2024 18:14

Eden will never trust Jayden now, she has told him things in confidence and he blabs it all at the first opportunity. Now she just won’t tell him anything 🤷🏻‍♀️

awaynboilyurheid · 16/04/2024 18:14

Like others reeeeaaaallyyyy wish they had said more to icky dicky! John saying You look broken ? No it’s poor Andrea who looks broken, he just looks pissed off and he’s supposed to be a motivational speaker? Really who would listen to his claptrap, poor me, sob , sob so glad they let Andrea get away .

Jayden needs a firm talking to as well, but out of others relationships now, you forced a girl to sleep with you Mr Sanctimonious! Eden probably had enough!
Sara thinks she’s actress of the year, dim Tim has fallen for it.
Poor Cassandra, beautiful looking woman, she’d have been nice with dim Tim. Still good they could still say nice things to each other even at the end , and Tristan might find a man that makes him happy.

thenightsky · 16/04/2024 18:23

Andy certainly looked a lot more broken that Dickie (as well as frightened). Dickie just looked sulky.

MzHz · 16/04/2024 18:42

Jayden and Eden - I see both sides of this. Jayden has the best reasons/motive for sharing this information he was told by Eden

Edens ultimatum wasn’t given by her as much as it was her anxiety speaking. She really showed the room how to give a fulsome apology, heartfelt, sincere and immediate. In stark contrast to that gaslighting twat Richard, or that vile Jack or trollop Sara.
