Moon something from years ago with Cybil and the guy who looks like my bunny boiler

themoon66 · 29/03/2008 22:50

Oh yes... both of those expat.

Also, Life on Mars. Ashes to ashes was okay, but not a patch on LoM.

Maidamess · 29/03/2008 22:51

A Very Peculiar Practice was v. good too.

policywonk · 29/03/2008 22:52

Party Animals (WHY no series 2?)
Six Feet Under - seeing the actors in other rubbish is just reminding me how good it was.

ladywombling · 29/03/2008 22:52

One about the law office set in leeds, I think it might have been called "North Square" or "North Street" or something

Buffy

choosyfloosy · 29/03/2008 22:52

Northern Exposure. Oh God I lived for Monday nights at 11.15.

expatinscotland · 29/03/2008 22:52

the gal who played Justine in Sea of Souls is playing the female lead in the play Blackbird in Glasgow in June and i'm beyond desperate and sad to see it.

Cold Feet was v. good.

I really miss the 70s. Am clearly at that age where nostalgia sets in but I'd love to see repeats of All Creatures Great and Small and The Onedin Line.

AnotherFineMess · 29/03/2008 22:55

Cracker. I chose my A-levels and degree subject on the basis of a large man in a blue suit.

fishie · 29/03/2008 22:55

buffy

sea of souls was super too, not as keen on afterlife.

Wezzle · 29/03/2008 22:56

Dallas and Dynasty

both classics

Maidamess · 29/03/2008 22:56

ladywombling I know the one you mean, it was a cracking series and they only made one! I think it was North Square, it had Phil whatsface as the main man didn't it?

I used to like...what was the one with the young lawyers all living together in a house, Egg and Millie and Anna and Miles? Its on the tip of my tongue....THIS LIFE!!

ladywombling · 29/03/2008 22:56

Six Feet Under too, and also this Sci Fi series, on in the early 90's about this little boy who moved to a small town where very strange things happened, can't remember what it was called either lol.

expatinscotland · 29/03/2008 22:57

Sex and the City

OP posts:
Maidamess · 29/03/2008 22:57

Yes moonlighting - thank you.

I really liked that program, it was gentle and I liked the story. Don't normaly go for us programs

I did like the darling buds of may aswell.

Oh and soldier Soldier - we had the girl in that come to stay in the hotel i worked in, cos she knew the woman out ofsome gipsy program and the main man in bread (he liked a drop of JD and was a good tipper)
