Northern Exposure
Spaced
Black Books
Buffy...
Also, from further back, Robin Hood ("The Hooded man, dum dum")agree it has to be Michael Praed, not Connery jnr. Also The Tomorrow People, being able to jaunt was my ambition as a child... and that slightly weird thing called Tarot something - my sister and I were addicted to that...

mankyscotslass · 30/03/2008 15:57

Falcon Crest
Sunset Beach
Moonlighting
My So Called Life
St Elsewhere
Friends
7th Heaven

wiredtothemoon · 30/03/2008 15:58

NYPD blue
West Wing

JulesJules · 30/03/2008 16:07

And DH and I both loved Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip - can't believe they are not making another series of that.

biglips · 30/03/2008 16:08

spooks............

LazyLinePainterJane · 30/03/2008 16:08

I do miss stuff like Buffy and Six Feet Under, Alias and Sex and The City but as far as I can see, they ended when they should have, it would be a mistake to make any more of them (apart from Alias which should have ended a year earlier).

Dead Like Me, however was wrongly cancelled.

donnie · 30/03/2008 16:14

and Dynasty of course, as well as the Colbys. The bit where Fallon went up in the space ship was its finest moment. Bring back Chuck Heston!

hana · 30/03/2008 16:15

will no one admit to missing Dawson's cReek?

was great trash during 1st maternity leave years ago!

donnie · 30/03/2008 16:16

I will confess to getting quite into the revamped version of Crossroads when I was on mat leave with dd1 in 2001. Oh the shame...

ByTheSea · 30/03/2008 16:18

Six Feet Under.

mankyscotslass · 30/03/2008 16:27

Hana, I will... I still record the re runs when I can.

marina · 30/03/2008 16:28

Oh, more North Square fans
I think something happened with one of the leads. Not tied in to a contract sufficiently firmly and they got a huge film role...I wonder if it was Kevin McKidd and Rome?

I'd love to see the lost Anne of Green Gables, made by the BBC in the v. early seventies (the one with Kim Braden as Anne and Jan Francis as Diana). It was magical...and they wiped it.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 30/03/2008 16:31

My So Called Life
Party Of Five
Yes Hana I will admit to enjoying Dawsons Creek

ArcticRoll · 30/03/2008 16:35

Yes, Marina it really was underated series-it somehow didn't seem to fit Channel 4 scedule-pretty sure that if it had been on BBC it would have got a second series.
The storylines were great and the cast were superb-Phil Davies was very good,Rupert Penry-Jones (swoon),Helen McCory and Kevin thingy.
Gosh I loved that version of Anne of Green Gables too!

eekamoose · 30/03/2008 16:52

Father Ted
Shooting Stars
Stella Street

Celery · 30/03/2008 16:55

ginnedup · 30/03/2008 16:57

FlossieTCake · 30/03/2008 17:01

Oh Marina - my copy of Anne of Green Gables had a picture from that series on the front and I had never seen it since - now I know why.

A bit OT but apparently it's Anne of Green Gables centenary this year - lovely article by Margaret Atwood in the paper yesterday.

Game On!! But only the first series when the male actors could still, um, act....

ladywombling · 30/03/2008 17:40

oh I remember what that sci fi chow was called now! Eerie Indiana, does anyone remember it. Probably not probably only 3 of us ever watched it, but it was fab.

TheArmadillo · 30/03/2008 18:22

TheArmadillo · 30/03/2008 18:23

Eerie Indiana - was that a kids spooky programme? If so I remember it but didn't watch it much.

beautifuldays · 30/03/2008 18:23

Father Ted, twas the funniest thing on tv

TheArmadillo · 30/03/2008 18:29

Father Ted was fab but I wouldn;t have wanted it continuing without the main actor.

mankyscotslass · 30/03/2008 18:36

Was Bugs the one with Craig McLachlan in it, and that bloke from the soap ElDorado? If so I loved it too!!
