Stargate SG1 - though they did do a TV film extra recently that sorted out the pants ending - also Buffy though that did have a really great climax.

ladywombling · 30/03/2008 18:43

Thats right armadillo!

ladywombling · 30/03/2008 18:44

Phew that someone else remembered it, I was beginning to think I had imagined it

turquoise · 30/03/2008 18:57

Hill St Blues
NYPD Blue
Sex and the City
Upstairs Downstairs
Father Ted
Dallas "Suellen yo' a tramp, a lursh and a unfit mother.." - I so wish Sueellen was available as an mn name!
Catweazle
The New Avengers (yes I know it was crap but good crap)
Life on Mars

A comedy with Michael J Fox as the assistant to Barry Bostwick's Mayor of New York - can't for the life of me think of the name but I LOVED it.

PhoebenotBuffay · 30/03/2008 19:14

NYPD Blue
Sex and the City
Party of Five
Wonder Years
Santa Barbara

And, turqoise, that Michael J Fox show was Spin City (I think)

Cappuccino · 30/03/2008 19:15

Buffy without a doubt

also Northern Exposure

and Coupling - yes I know but it was really funny

turquoise · 30/03/2008 19:18

Pheobe that was it! It was good - though not the 2nd series when Charlie Sheen took over.

Forgot Northern Exposure, that was good too.
Any NE fans tried Men in Trees? It's ok.

TheArmadillo · 30/03/2008 19:20

yes mankyscotslass that's it.

I have all the dvds but wished they made more series (and got Craig McLachlan back rather than london's burning guy) especially as they ended on a cliffhanger.

god that was annoying.

The only eerie indiana episode I remember is the one wiht the fmaily that never aged and the mother made them sleep in giant tupperware at night.

I never really saw it cos it was on sat morning or some such time when my mum didn't let us watch telly.

CorrieDale · 30/03/2008 19:21

Brass. Can't find it on DVD and it's never repeated. It was soo funny - and I suspect I was too young to get most of the jokes. Would love to watch it again as an adult.

Clayhead · 30/03/2008 19:23

My dad has Brass on DVD!

amazon

littlerach · 30/03/2008 19:29

My So-called Life was brilliant.

Obviously SATC.

Thirtsomehting was so old. But cool.

Anyone else remember The Secret life of Us?
It was an Aussie one on C4, think they only showed one or two episodes,a nd I can't find the rest anywhere.

I found The Wonder Yeras on TV the other day.
It's still good.

Maidamess · 30/03/2008 19:31

I remember a series set in an American Law college called Paper Moon or something that I really used to like...and remembering that has reminded me of LA Law! I loved that series.

geekgirl · 30/03/2008 19:32

the 4400 - it was dropped by the network mid-story (very gripping it was, too - but evidently not lucrative enough) - I want to know what/why, dammit!

geekgirl · 30/03/2008 19:33

I also really liked Moonlighting, we have all the series on DVD. The final one was a bit rubbish though so don't miss it.

Maidamess · 30/03/2008 19:34

I loved Moonlighting until they 'did it'. It was downhill from then I thought.

Fillyjonk · 30/03/2008 19:34

west wing

northern exposure

buffy

muppetgirl · 30/03/2008 19:34

My best friend loved sunset beach when we were at uni. She lusted over the Italian looking vicar....

geekgirl · 30/03/2008 19:35

the whole pregnancy and stillbirth bit completely offed it for me. Before it was nice and lighthearted, and then that...

CorrieDale · 30/03/2008 19:38

Clayhead, you are a marvel. I checked with Amazon a while ago and couldn't find it and hadn't bothered checking since. Have just bought it (at 55% off too!!!!!!!)

hoxtonchick · 30/03/2008 19:38

oh yes, secret life of us was cool. i think there were a couple of series on ?channel 4. used to be on at stupid times.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/03/2008 19:39

In addition to several already mentioned, Ally McBeal. Does no-one else miss Ally?

Maidamess · 30/03/2008 19:40

I couldn't stand Ally! All that kookiness, and dancing babies and Barry White drove me round the bend, sorry!

Cappuccino · 30/03/2008 19:40

Cagney and Lacey

muppetgirl · 30/03/2008 19:44

The dancing baby and the 'ooga-chuga' band were a bit wierd. My brother bought my ex an entire video of the baby dancing to a psycadelic background.

bandgeek · 30/03/2008 19:46

Stargate SG-1 - when it was Jack and Daniel and, well good

The Krypton Factor
