New thread. New era. New series.

I'm not sure that trailers for future plotlines are spoilers

FourLeggedBuckers · 31/03/2024 12:47

It’s not my thread and not my decision to make. Trailers are widely available online if you want to see it.

purpleme12 · 31/03/2024 12:53

That's fine if you don't want to post it
I was just saying.
I'm not bothered about searching for trailers. Sometimes I see them though

FourLeggedBuckers · 31/03/2024 12:57

People have different opinions on spoilers and some people don’t like seeing anything, even if it was just a trailer. It’s fairer not to post anything that hasn’t been shown yet.

purpleme12 · 31/03/2024 13:17

I wasn't asking for the trailer to be posted here?

nearlymrs · 31/03/2024 13:18

Poor Teddy, that was really uncomfortable to watch and we don't even know what actually happened!

FourLeggedBuckers · 31/03/2024 13:34

I didn’t say you were, we were talking about whether things that have been shown in a trailer constitute spoilers, in the context of whether they should be posted on a thread like this.

And I’d say that’s up to the OP.

For clarity - people are speculating about where Dylan’s plot lines are going. The trailer has some indicators about this, if people want to see them.

That is literally all I was saying.

purpleme12 · 31/03/2024 13:36

Oh right

Edited

Just watched the trailer - I didn’t realise trailers were even a thing with Casualty 😂

Glad I watched though!

spiderlight · 01/04/2024 00:35

Poor Teddy was so traumatised .Just when there was a risk of a nice happy relationship as well! I hope they handle it well.

Walkingtheplank · 01/04/2024 18:50

Has Stevie left?

purpleme12 · 01/04/2024 18:53

No

UsernameChangerRanger · 01/04/2024 20:18

purpleme12 · 01/04/2024 01:01

Sad?

It seems to me either Rash or Dylan are going to have a rough time of it and I like both their characters.

purpleme12 · 01/04/2024 20:20

Me too

hoarahloux · 01/04/2024 22:35

Jesus, poor Teddy. It was pretty obvious what sort of thing happened to him from our perspective, but the "men can be sexually assaulted" story is going to go on for a bit.

I hope we're not also getting back into Dylan's mental health problems. I know he connected a bit with that patient via naval history but he must have seen thousands of resus patients even since recovery from his various OCD, anxiety and alcohol issues. He's been my favourite character since his introduction as the GP with the sheep and his Holby bus crash that ended up killing Polly - can't we just let him be OK for a bit.

I like Patrick. I liked his actor in Waterloo Road too, just something so calming about him. Too much Waterloo Road recently, Maggie Budgen and Andrew Treneman at the same time?

spiderlight · 06/04/2024 15:47

Well, if I didn't hate Patrick before... 😡

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 06/04/2024 16:40

Have watched tonight’s episode on iPlayer and NEED to discuss my theory - waiting impatiently until it goes out on TV!

bizzey · 06/04/2024 17:52

Not the point of this thread I know ..but ....
Why is nearly everything on iPlayer now before " real " TV time ??!!

I always thought iPlayer was for catch up ...
now it seems "real /proper time " is catch up !!!

Doubleraspberry · 06/04/2024 18:15

I genuinely never watch live TV. We do have it now as we found a cable a year after moving to connect to the aerial but I can’t think of a time I’ve sat down and watched.

NameChangeAgain0224 · 06/04/2024 19:07

I haven’t watched anything on Live TV since my first child was born 10 years ago 😂 Everyone I know mainly watches programmes on the catch-up channels.

purpleme12 · 06/04/2024 19:16

I watch live TV if I'm in when it's on.

FourLeggedBuckers · 06/04/2024 19:19

I didn’t even bother to set up live tv last time I replaced my television 😂 I am extraordinarily lazy though.
