Finally watched it. If Rich is not Siobhan’s husband we are certainly meant to think he is. I can’t see any other interpretation of that scene.

I was on holiday for the episode on 22nd a June, and for some reason the machine didn't record it. Have searched everywhere on iPlayer and all that comes up is an old episode. Weird.

I think it was Siobhan's husband, who picked her up, that is messaging Stevie. Ouch.

But why do you think that ?

Because the actor playing the man who is messaging Stevie and the actor playing the man driving the car that Siobahn got into and to whom she spoke as if they were married are the same actor??

Where about a it is and in what episode please

So in the first episode of ‘Storm Damage’, Stevie is out at a massive car crash during a storm and a fire fighter is at the scene as well. He’s clearly interested in her and in the end she gives him her number. As she does that, she sees his wedding ring and realises he’s married but he says it’s complicated.

Then in the second episode, he’s texting her loads but she’s ignoring him. At the end of her shift she tells Siobahn that the texts are from a guy but he’s married so she’s not interested. Siobhan encourages her to go for it anyway. At the very end of the episode, Siobahn leaves work and gets into a car, chatting to the unseen driver. Then the camera pans to him and it’s Stevie’s fire fighter.

So that she had texted him and agreed to meet up

I know it was a hard shift for them all, but that is pretty harsh on Stevie 😂

It certainly looked like the fireman. And the slow reveal,of his face at the end of the episode was portentous (Eastenders type drum roll).
