The fireman and Siobhan have different surnames - yes I did go back and look at what he said when he introduced himself to Stevie.
I know surnames don't prove much these days.

It did look like she kissed him towards his mouth but the camera angle was from the back of his head.

I assume the series of 12 episodes are written by different people. The series is shaping up to be so much better than the last two.

I don’t think Stevie was ever really a bitch - by Casualty / Holby standards - and I rarely think she’s particularly harsh. I find her fairly believable and relatable, within the context of the show.

I think there’s quite enough unsolicited physical contact between staff and patients in Casualty. I don’t think it’s appropriate, so I find Stevie’s less soppy attitude more realistic, and desirable, than the more tactile characters.

Has everyone forgotten that she intended to kill poor Ethan?

Apart from the trying to murder Ethan thing I would far rather be treated by Stevie or Dylan than the likes of Faith saying "oh you poor love" every two seconds.

I would ask for a new nurse if Faith came near me. I'm also much more receptive to a Dylan or Stevie when I'm sick!

It seems like it sometimes with some posts 😂

Honestly I was more annoyed she planted drugs in poor jade’s locker

No, but given the circumstances around that, I don’t think it makes her a bitch. Remember that Ethan himself had similar moments after Cal died, with the person he felt was responsible for that.

I wasn't fully concentrating but I think they kissed in a not mother and son type way.

Yes, I think they kissed on the lips.

WhatICallMyUsername · 23/06/2024 20:06

Anyone who doesn't want to know their relationship don't go googling too much as the information is online!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/06/2024 20:21

Obv missed that - where was it shown

I also didn't know she was the new clinical head till someone said it in the meeting

Why can't she feed herself 😂

Faith and Ian. I do have a small
Crush on iian when shaves

What a how diving done to rescue man who surely should have died /no air under water

And poor baby. And poor cam he did seem to get a bollocking but yes he shouldn't have told mum he hesitated but a few seconds wouidnt have made any diff

FourLeggedBuckers · 24/06/2024 23:43

Siobhan is married - although I don’t think we know details of that, and I can’t remember the name of the bloke she mentioned when she started - something about him cooking dinner. She has definitely made reference to having kids before.

I liked it when Iain sort of keeled over after the watery ordeal and Teddy rubbed his hair like a dog. It was a very doggy episode in a lot of ways.

I guess it’s not an issue about Bob, the dog Cam rehomed, as he’s presumably either drowned or electrocuted after this episode. In reality, it seems he’s just evaporated from the memory of the writers.

Yeah, no air underwater. He died instantly, as we all do when submerged. Totally unrealistic that after a a couple of minutes underwater and immediate CPR he had a pulse.

Still lucky the flood water was nice and clear for Iain to see, rather than impenetrable with silt and a risk of debris from trr branches and other stuff ready to hit him.

purpleme12 · 25/06/2024 01:13

I really thought he was a gonner

But I am one of those people willing to overlook those kind of discrepancies that might not be realistic

If the water was freezing cold he would have survived. Iain wouldn't but the driver would have.

purpleme12 · 25/06/2024 07:40

purpleme12 · 25/06/2024 07:40

Plunging into a cold lake would have killed Iain. Drifting slowly into a cold lake would have slowed the drivers heart rate down. I spent too many nights watching 999 with Michael Burke and ER in my younger years.

spiderlight · 25/06/2024 10:38

Maybe Iain does cold-water swimming as a hobby and is used to it. My main takeaway from that whole sequence was sympathy for the crew, as we were there on one of the days they were filming (Cosmeston Lakes) and the weather was absolutely foul!! We didn't see anything exciting, just lots of crew trucks and a random ambulance that was too tucked away for me to be able to get a photo. The stepping stones where the farmer was rescued are somewhere else entirely, though!

spiderlight · 25/06/2024 12:00

Oh, and that we've got the same stripy towel that Iain used when he got out of the shower!

As so unreal. Esp the no notice

I seem to remember Siobhan taking a call during a shift and saying it was her daughter?

Just not sure how others know or maybe they think related to siobhan
